Over the past few days, Fox discovered CON bytecode on the TM disc and in the 64 cartridge, and together we decompiled it back to CON text files. It was a lot of fun.

Thanks. To be clear, the similarities were more to do with progression style than aesthetic and even then I knew it was pretty superficial and not something worth giving it up over. Sometimes it just takes hacking at it some more (without forcing it) to get it to a place where you're happy with it. Anywho I just finished my first week at the new gig and while doing that and getting settled in the new place, I drummed up some more designs.

I love those exploits with sectors, slopes etc where we can make maps that does cool shapes that looks (beyond) the boundaries of Duke levels.
Nice level, can't wait for its release.

There's indeed a bit of ABBA going on, also some Imperium (the space maps obviously).

Anyway, I really dig the soundtrack, Maarten! :P

The only thing I don't like is that it's gonna be a mid-summer release. I've always felt that pure coldness and desolation of space station is the perfect fit for autumn and winter time, which enhances the atmoshpere of the game.

recently did more work on this little project here though tbh, i've had this particular gun done for a while. While the video was shot in software mode, it's worth mentioning that I've made some cosmetic tweaks to the weapons between render modes so in software you get what's in the video, but in poly you get a more 64-esque look;

Hi everyone,

Here is a pic about a project I have started.
As you see the Polymer shadows are sometimes not displayed properly on 3D models, we already knew that...

So here is a question. Is there a way to prevent a model to receive shadows ? I'm not talking about to prevent casting its own shadow (cstat 8192) but to prevent a model to receive the other model's shadows ? See the nightstand and the lamp for example, that's not the best... Nevertheless the store shadows are benefic when it is casted on the oppposite wall of the room. So I would like to keep the light source and minimize the downside.
