[Wip] Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown  "Full mod, not lite version"

I understand what Fox is getting at here. He wants to keep the maps as their original selves without changes, and I like the idea of the maps like that. What about an optional patch that gives the maps multiplayer compatibility and fixes some of the bugs in those maps. So you would have the original maps and an optional patch that enhances those maps.

Yeah! but make the optional patch the default, then don't tell anyone they are playing the updated maps, it's okay nobody notice... B)

No bug fixing, only multiplayer compatibility.

I don't have any objections. Besides I've sometimes wondered what these maps would be like on multiplayer.

I don't think Tm needs bug fixing, I think it already done since Duke mutiplayer was already there for it on ps1 Right fox?

coop could be a problem though don't remember there being any coop in Tm only Duke Match so the coop spawns may need to be placed.

There was only a 2 players Deathmatch, and only a few levels could be played (Quirk of Fate being the only new level there).

The levels ported from PC (Faces of Death included) are fine with multiplayer. But the new levels are broken in different ways, and none of them works for 8 players.

i recently saw the episode 4 maps from TM played usermap style. i just did the final level of Total Meltdown Duke Nukem 64 style

i find it kinda weird that. in the TM game, the expander is not there. and the tripmines are inventory items. yet in the weapons slot there the 0 would be for the freezer. there's a T there

Huh, Rendenzvous doesn't have any "new" (kinda) texture, so you can play it on normal Duke too.

lol. i guess i must of started a little trend thing. since i posted my video of a TM map under Duke 64 settings. now Fox follows with a different TM map playing it under Duke Nukem 64 settings
