Partial source code to a early iteration of blood got leaked a long time ago. When I mean partial, only 30% of it from what I remember leaked, and I'm sure M210 referenced it for his work.

There may or may not be upwards of a dozen full source snapshots floating around that are only missing a library or two required to link. The newest of them may or may not be less than a year older than the first public release of Blood. M210 may or may not have used them. There may or may not be hundreds of matching symbol names found in his compiled java classes.

That's interesting. I was not aware that a full source code dump was leaked online. If the gamecode is all there, it wouldn't matter if its missing libraries it would be easy enough for someone to fill in the blanks. I guess M210 didn't have to fiddly fuck as much as I thought :).

Yeah, it would be useless to port that code, but it does explain how M210 was able to get his port to were its at. He didn't have to do as much fiddly fucking.

Far from useless. All of the FX and animation systems were in place (with file formats compatible with the final version), etc.

just want to say - it's not a full source code...it's not a full alpha src's and it's a 50% of retail(released) version src code. I know it, because I working with it (worked)
For example, alpha haven't ROR and water sectors..it's was a decompiled and btw it's a big part of code.

That's not what I mean by fiddly fucking. ROR does not fall under fiddly fucking. Getting the timing right for monsters, animations, and such is really difficult and often requires engineers and designers to go in and try shit over and over...thats called fiddly fucking.

If you took any gameplay code from that codebase(game logic/timing/etc), then you didn't have to do any fiddly fucking. I'm starting to understand why you don't want to release your code to the community. There would be a greater chance of Atari or Warner Bros being on your ass if they knew your work contained there code ;).

With the latest release the lag I had is gone so wanted to thank you M210! :)

Extremely good job, congratulations!

One problem though, I'm playing GOG release of One Unit, there seems to be problem with some textures in Cryptic Passage, boats have The Beast sprites. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just a bug?

It's possible, but I don't see a point. Most of them aren't even used in the main game and the ones that are are just lazily converted from low-poly 3d models and, honestly, look awful.

When a IP like Blood acquired by Warner Brothers, then it just like doesn't exist anymore...
