since Megaton is i guess not gonna have a version of the TM mod to work for that for now. perhaps other source ports could potentially have a shot to allow people to play the Total Meltdown mod for mp action on ports like XDuke, HDuke, JFDuke and even EDuke's that have MP support to work for them. i know there are those things that host Duke 3D games online like Dukematcher, Yang and even Meltdown. i know that DosBox is being considered to have the mod for that. but the others could work to. like have a grp and maybe a con file or to for those who can host games on those online server things and set up to play TM online with others

I'd rather be able to play it in Megaton myself. Just a dumbed-down version that only includes the Plug 'N' Pray episode and the assets that are exclusive to Total Meltdown would be all I would want. I can't quite remember the reason that was given for why it's not going to be possible to make a playable version for Megaton, but I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. I'm still seeing other mods being played in the game in multiplayer.

yeah. i wouldn't mind if Megaton just had just that stuff either. EDuke can have the full TM layout. and Megaton could perhaps just have that stuff

To make it clear, I was focusing on making in work on Megaton on release time, but there is not a reason for it anymore since the multiplayer is now broken.

well. i don't recall a real good explanation on how Megaton's MP is so broken that making the TM mod for Megaton would be impossible to do. i mean, what exactly killed the chances of Megaton having the Total Meltdown mod to work for it?

The working multiplayer was the only reason I had to make the mod work on Megaton. Now I am looking forward the DOS version, which should work on any source port, Megaton included. But that could take a while.

Almost done with the DOS version. It wasn't the herculean task I tought it would be. :)

Didn't someone say at some point that this was going to be a commercial addon, either for megaton or the EDuke32 Android port or something? What's going on with that?

How are you colour converting the tiles, Fox? Pretty clear you're not doing it by hand manipulating the palette. I've found Image Analyzer to be the most effective at palette conversions.

I wasn't sure of how to do it, so I simply imported the images using Editart. But I converted the PALETTE.DAT to 15-bits before to match the PSX tiles.

Micky, Total Meltdown's episode will be included with the Android and iOS versions of the game.

Yes. The only things missing from it were the flying sprites.

Edit: That gets me to wonder if Fox found any sprites of Duke flying in the graphics rip not too long ago.
