I checked and nothing special to report :/
(as in the bug we're talking about is unchanged)

Do you think sending you save files would help ?


EDIT : I didn't manage to reproduce the Galil's bug BUT I managed to reproduce the Golden Jackhammer's and have a save file for it.
I suppose the patch somehow fixed the Galil's bug but if it happens again I'll make sure to keep a save for it.

BTW may I ask how you beat "Toxic Gas" from "Lost Highway ?

I'm in that sewer section, did the switch puzzle and activated the pump but when underwater all the paths are either blocked or instant kills T_T

Is there something to make all that stop moving or for example open that little wall in the path on the right ?

You just head straight forward, the center path won't kill you and you can swim up into a hole and exit the level.

Oh I didn't see that there was a safe spot in the middle, I thought it was one big prop and you had to move along with it around the "room":/

Is it normal that on the "Bloody Mountain" level there is a turbine sound going on in all the level even underwater ? Not only does it go on for ever but it's all glitchy as in it keeps switching on and off in extremely rapid and variable successions, it's irritating with time ...

Also where do we find the Yellow key ? I can't find a single card anywhere T_T

That's a bug that I've fixed - sorry about that! The yellow keycard is in the broken train carriage, although you'll need a jetpack which several are dotted around the level.

I see, well at some point in the level it stops for good.

BTW what does the switch do ?
I mean in the yellow card's part, the switch on the desk with a Top Secret folder on it what does it do ?
That level is too unclear, and some things are too well hidden ... fortunately the music isn't boring


EDIT : finally found what it does, it was just me being stupidly blind again :D

I've been finding briefcases every so often and they contain some pretty nifty looking guns.. but I pick them up and it says you picked up an Artifact. I never get to see the guns again
Is this intentional?

They can be accessed in the specialist equipment page in the loadout menu once you return to base - they're basically replacement guns for a character's basic weapon set.

Ooooh, Neat.. Except, that's what I thought the Waterfall weapons dealer gave you. Does he just make alternative weapons available in the field?

They both give you that :D You can buy guns from the arms dealer but you can also find some on the field (they don't mix, so you can only buy some stuff and only find other stuff)

Hmm.. Near the end of episode two, the last couple of Mars missions, it seems some of my weapon upgrades are having to be bought again, specifically James, Mikko and Mickey.

A few questions
Sometimes I'm able to play as four other characters, John, Maartin, Cultist and Jane, sometimes they aren't in the character selection. Is there a way to enable them?
It seems I'm able to play episode 3 missions, but isnt this episode two?

There's no episode 3 missions, it's just a filter option left in.

The extra characters are available if you're playing a usermap, but not during the main episodes :D

Not only is it a filter option left in but also levels left in but oddly enough they don't seem to be in the game's files at all, I mean I haven't seen the Pyramid and Stygian Memorial in the "Usermap" menu at all I guess that's why we're sent back to title screen if we try to launch them :/
Also we can also have the "Episode 4 missions" as a filter but I don't think anything pops up if we select only that.


But BTW isn't this going to be troublesome ? Now that I've tried to launch those levels by curiosity they are marked as completed, whenever Ep3 will come isn't this going to pose a problem in terms of storyline as in being able to play later levels while not having played the first ones ? Unless these get deleted at some point but I doubt you guys will do that.

They aren't marked as complete since the code for that is not existent in the game's files yet, just completely ignore them for now.

You're half right since the Pyramid is still in red indeed but the Stygian Memorial is in green, but as you said it's nothing to worry about for the time being besides they don't cause any bad ATM ^^

I have a tech level of nine, I cant find the last scientist.
Can you list all the levels that have scientists?

Weird I found them all with no problem, my last scientists were on Mikko's mission on Energia, you should check in Episode 1's DisBase mission with James, there's a time portal somewhere with scientists in it.
But it's been so long for me I can't list anything.

It indeed does, I witnessed it during my Armageddon run and it reflects the low caliber bullets just like the regular katana does

I nearly forgot, there is an item in Sang's room (I think) which disappears when you press use on it, saying "This will look good back home"
When is the new patch coming out? Will it have more new EDF Missions?

I didn't meant to make it sound like I was reporting a bug. I gave it to Micky, laughed at the 'You call that a knife? THIS is a knife' and started a Cycloid slaughter. :D
Then, back at the base I realized that the katana is only worth 75 points while the light sabre is worth 500. Is it because it works against all kind of enemies? Or because it is stronger than the katana? :D
Anyway, if it deflects low calibre bullets... hell, bring it on! :D

Yeah, anytime you start a 'new game' (which is mandatory to play an usermap) you lose all your weapon upgrades. I like to play usermaps with speciality weapon replacements for that reason. :D

The weapon upgrades that you purchase inside maps (but you can also do from the terminal IIRC although I've never done that myself) are meant to be short-term upgrades that generally don't carry over between missions.

Weird because last time I played I lost all of my upgrades at Mikko's mission on Arsia; every single upgrade I had bought was from the base and they did carry over from mission to mission but when I reached Mikko's mission on Aria Months TV I lost all of them, it was the same on Ep1 you would lose all your upgrades when reaching the Snow Base level.

So, I went to play a user map and I want to change the music using Shift-F5.. Now I've got an ambience track and a music track playing at the same time
