I'd recommend first cropping the images as much as you can to the game screen, then resizing the shot to 320x200. Then, do some brightness levels adjustment to account for it being a magazine scan.

This model looks quite resemblant to the current HRP's, I'm not categorical but I don't remember there being any new model of that boss unlike Overlord and Emperor ...

It may not be exactly the same version, but it's the latest one I have. I don't have time to go through and compare them to see the changes. If it isn't the exact one, then consider it that I've released a beta!!! :) :( :(

Requesting a Duke-handed (or at the very least, arm braces removed from Lo Wang's hands) Shadow Warrior Railgun, in the Duke Palette (all frames). This is for the StrikerDM project, for Instagib.

So I initially wanted to do a first-person rip of the gigantic turret used in the Mothership battle in DNF, but then I saw how similar in shape it was to the shrinker/expander. With that, I went another route:

As I did with the sprites I posted earlier, here is the zip to all the pieces and frames. If you wanna do a different firing animation for the inner tubes (mine sucks, it's basically two overlapping lightning textures used with the turret), there's a truecolor of the firing frames' tubes. Also works with the regular expander sprites if you don't want the screen.

Here's the Zombie Lizard. It's not 100% finished yet, but I'm posting it in case anyone wants to use it. So far it only has walking animations. It doesn't have attacking, or death animations yet, But i do plan on making them soon (Unless somebody ends up beating me to the punch :P ).

Here is an oldie. Movento gifted us with a Duke Nukem player model. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to get it fully into the game. The Blend file is included, weight paint needs some work as the back lifts away from the jeans. Not all the animations are included, though it should be possible to rig him to the existing Mark Skelton Duke player model Blend. It's not complete, but I thought people might be able to make use of it as it looks more like the original DN3D duke model. Supplied as-is with no guarantees!

I doubt the normal maps for the hair will be as pronounced in Eduke32 as in that rendered shot.

Here is the space car model Blender file. I may have posted it earlier, if so, then apologies. I've also fixed a small dimple that was on top of the pilot's canopy.

This one has added smooth groups which should work better with Polymer. I've included the PSD files for the body and the monster logo that goes on the wing.

No, but the point is his hair is swept back instead of a brush cut. It's wrong. Personally, I think what we've got is far better. I don't see how this looks anything like the original Duke model.

If you look at the same model in the next pic down, in a different renderer, it looks more like a brush cut. I also like the present HRP model better for other reasons.

Movento was good enough to give us the model. I have released this as a bit of history that never was so you guys can see it and maybe use it for something. I'm not releasing this as a replacement for anything, and I'm not saying you have to use it to replace anything. it's just a slice of history for your enjoyment.

I'm going to be taking a back seat to Duke modding after the HH project is done and I thought I'd clear out some of the old files I have on my hard drive and share them with the community. I have a few odds and ends like some of the old creature models with Duke animations that I was making for the new multiplayer system. They aren't finished, but I can issue stuff like that if people are interested.

I don't have many of the old blend files for the first generation of HRP models. I have the dome light and one or two others, but to be honest, unless it's animated, then you are just as well off importing the static MD3 into Blender.

One thing that is missing at the moment that I was going to issue is the Lunar Overlord blend file. If it turns up, I'll post it.

The bottom pic is a screen grab showing the animations in Blender's viewport. I've not set up the materials properly in the viewport as it was just used for creating the animations, not display. All you are getting is the smoothed model with the diffuse map.
The top render is a Marmoset Toolbag render and should be more like what it will look like in EDuke.

This is Parkar's Pig Cop, but animated with the Duke player movements. This was supposed to be for when we had Quake-style Multiplayer in EDuke32.

Model has the skin in the Blend file. Model is fully rigged and animated.

Updated the Sound Canvas VA title loop rendition of Grabbag I did a while back.
Just rename it to "GRABBAG" and it'll be loadable in EDuke32.

Another Duke situation:
Duke enters a bar and engages in a shootout with the assault troopers and pigcops chillin' inside. Of course, he wipes the floor with them, and goes towards an exit in plain sight. However, it's a trap, but Duke realizes before he gets hit with it, and sees a spot to foil it with a pipebomb or an RPG. Explosions ensue, and as the sound clears, he mutters, "I don't get fooled again."

All the while this music is playing in the bar.
It includes looping tags, so the second half loops. Best results when the track is restarted once explosions happen.

Since there's an OctaKing in DNF, how about an OctaQueen. Includes an alternate explosion death.
