EDIT: Also the title doesn't come from X-com; not from the first two in anycase and I don't think the later ones used midi.

So i played this till the end of the second map ( i basically dont have free time anymore... thats all i could play haha) and im really enjoying this mod. Btw as someone already posted, theres some texture bugs that could be easily fixed, by saying bugs i mean textures placed in wrong places, and some areas are more detailed that others that it feels strange, like the map overall are really beautiful and clean, but some areas are just simple sectors with no detail at all, like the elevator in the end of the map ( the one with a chest that cost you a lot of coins to open). Also, while exploring the map, i usually try to do "stupid things", like discovering warps and etc, and i found access to some strange places, that i think you guys should block so no one can go in these. Also i did something funny in the very start of the game, you know in the start where you need to use the POW to remove the rocks from your way, i just found another way: jumping in that friendly mage and then jumping over the rocks haha.

EDIT: Game over also isn't from X-com - unless the two you've used are 3rd party remixes or something
EDIT2: Also OGG music would seriously improve the atmosphere. I know it adds alot to filesize (unless you shrink it's quality by a bit) but midi tracks grow old much quicker than a decent ogg track.

Other than that, as DT said you wont be able to proceed back to the HUB when the game is completed. hopefully that's the only other bug.

The error started way back in a Eduke32 update. I was able to work around that so I didn't report it.
And that was just the axis X (turning) and Y (moving Foward/Back) should always be in that order. The Z axis is an optonal 3rd. For some reason the Z is now before the Y and the X is now the 3rd axis. That confuses the controller configuration and always needs re-configuring.
Now the new problem is this
The joystick wont work because an axis is missing.
Can you guess which one?

Hmm.., it's a little annoying when every time the new version released and I downloaded it and extracted it then I accidentally to overwrited my old wgr2.cfg... damn, I must setup my configuration again...

EDIT on Nov 13 2009, 06:51 PM(GMT+8) : BTW, I found some stat screen bugs... it doesn't matter about game play but it still weird.
(I play with 1.0RC3 and restart the game, not load any savegame.
1.I get 100% kills in level 1 (skill 3) on EDuke32's stat but WGR2 displays 172/160. And it still display white color, shouldn't it displays gold(?) color because I get 107.5% kills.
2. I opened all soul door but the WGR2 stat said I still missed 1, but those soul in that level has been become to money when I found them, so I should opened all soul door. I don't know why it still said 3/4. (I uploaded my savegame on attachment.)

2) some of the jump sounds sound out of place/annoying.
3) 1st level, area after the mini-boss that axon heals you at if you get too injured. The torches are placed rather haphazardly >.> kinda annoying.

Though I think DT fixed the final boss so you cant kill it so fast now.
