However after a bit of working with this I'm not going to have the under side of water see-through, as it has proven to be a total pain ATM, I can however get the effect looking into the water to work properly and found some alternative methods as well as some weird quirks you have to do get it to line up properly :(

Maybe when I get a little more done I'll do some closed alpha-testing as I could always use some extra eyes and suggestions.

Dan and I have been converting WGR 1 over to WGR 2, Progress has gone extreamly well, I have also added 2 other finished levels to the episode so now it has 7 levels. Right now we are improving gameplay in areas where it is needed. working on WGR1 again made me relise how noobish I was back then with some stuff, it was good but could of been alot better, at least now you will be able to play it the way it was meant to be played.

Just did probably one of the most complex effect ever.
Works a bit like a traffic light.

Accept let say the way one is open and way two is blocked.
You press a button and way one blocks and way two opens.

But are not doors.

Are sprites.
theres energy blocking the way.
When you press the switch.
The energy tube appears and a sec after energy blocker vanish.

The way that blocks from opening the other way does the opposite.

You have to understand, Jhect has a history of bragging about his abilities and insulting others (including me), so I no longer treat him the same way. It's still possible for him to earn respect, but it will take quite a few months of good behavior.

I think it was Eddy Zykov who made a map that had missiles in it that could be steered (also via missile cam). Don't remember the name of it though.

Original author of this missile is LipSheZ.

The name of the map is RCBP3.

It's a bit buggy. The muzzleflash sprite (which includes part of the RPG launcher sprite0 is in the wrong spot) and I don't even need to mention how much more exacerbated the rocket problem is (it's so big that it's way more noticable that the rocket doesn't actually come out of the RPG launcher, and in fact seems to be coming from the player's head. Thus the camera cuts the rocket in half for the first few instants after firing. Not so bad with the regular HRP but is now.)

I'm adapting some total conversions maps that originally were not designed to the most recent mod's, only dukeplus and attrition for now. Those TC maps was already awesome from themself, the DP/ATT features makes even 10X better.

Whit these Cons and this GRP you can play DUKE IN LOS ANGELES, DUKE IN 25TH CENTURY, CHIMERA and BURNT.

The CONS are based on a vanilla duke3d version for not causing errors. And because the custom ART file is from vanilla too, you will often see the infamous "no art placed glitch" (especially in CHIMERA, where the sky and some doors have this problem) all the episodes still playable and you will able to finish them. If anyone wants to help on the custom ART is welcome.

First of all extract TCCUSER.CON and TCC.GRP in your eduke32 folder, then follow the foolproof instructions under here.

TCC DUKEPLUS (DUKEPLUS CONS)

1)Make a copy of your Dukeplus folder and rename it DukeplusTCC

2)Place the EDUKE.CON in \DukePlusTCC folder

3)Place the DUKEPLUS.CON in \DukePlusTCC\dpcons

4)Place the dukeplusTCC.bat in your eduke32 folder and run it.


TCC ATTRITION (ATTRITION CONS)

1)Make a copy of your attrition folder and rename it attritionTCC

2)Place the EDUKE.CON in \attritionTCC folder

3)Place the ATTDEFS.CON in \attritionTCC\attcons

4)Place the attritionTCC in your eduke32 folder and run it.


Maybe I'll try to make DP/ATT compatible total convertions whit custom enemies like THE GATE or CRITICAL MASS.

Ya but that's not the case. The case is that DT is just joking because he knows that this is old stuff :P The reason i made this video is that my dad liked the fact that you can run faster than the rocket that you shoot yourself. I agreed and i thought about making a video about it. Yea i just saw that the muzzleflash is off. The rocket needs a new offset. But i'm not gonna work on that now. It is a minor effect that doesn't really matter in my mod right now.

So i agree with micky, a useful help there buddy.
As always DT and emerica post useless stuff xD don't make it a habit guys ;)

Okay, that idea with the camera was pretty good. Instead of being in the missile i decided to make duke and the missile 2 different models. So you can see the rocket float around, while you control it. Don't know if i should make duke stand still while the rocket is in the air...
