looks amazing. The texture work on the interior buildings looks really well put together. Cant wait to check it all out.

Yeah it looks sweet, but using that track in every video released is getting very tiresome. Just skip music all together and show what the map can do.

ive been working with the code for my mod.

i made it so if you get shot. you get thrown back. its nice when a group of ememys move in on you. so you can fight them by hitting them backwords and standing your ground.
note, the ememys can do the same. a group of pigcops can toss you around if you don't hit them first.
also i made the quick kick a hevy hitter. so its also useful in other aspect then just knocking a person off brige when you shot'em. if your shoting at a person charging at you, thay'll never get that kick in.

ive also made my own emamy codes. the liztroops are now doing things like : hiding behind walls then peek out, shot at you then hide again. its cool because you'll hear them, but when you turn around thay'll offten be hiding.
as thay'll usely keep a distaces thay sometimes charge to atack you then move back. but i got it so if you run after them thay'll shot as thay move back. it can also put you in an ambush if that troop came with a grounp as he'll usely lead you back to them.

im knows its been done befor. but what do you guys think?... works?

Great trailer Danm! I love the lighting - it's overlooked in many duke maps (understandible considering classic maps could only use extremes) but the subtle way of implementing them in your maps look great.

its great not using walls and sectors for shadows aswell, just frees them up for more importing things like detail and making the level longer, I kinda miss not being able to draw my own shadows as i cant use spotlights everywhere, but i reckon the trade off is worth it .

that mod dose look awesome. ok i have 1.5 and i got an idea from seeing the small camscreen in 3erd person. and knowing about the slitscreen mod. i wanted to know if theres any way to make small window that shows a cam of a RPG when i fire it.
i want to make a custom gun for my mod thats a RPG with a cam. i know how to make a cam spite from an RPG (well i have an idea). but the idea of the fution onsreen would be awesome.

the idea is. i can only shot one RPG. when i do a small window pops up on the upper left or right side. it shows what the RPG is doing. and maybe, i could bind some keys so it moves left or right a little bit.

so can anyone help?

You will need to use the showview command. The wiki explains it pretty well iirc.

i figgerd out a methed. i take the cam screen sprite and post it on screen, active. the resolution of the sprite determens the resolution of the on screen cam. but make sure the unactive screen a spire you can see thow. that way, you dont see it on screen when its not active.

show veiw? where would i find that?... i wonder if its anything like my idea. i have to admit, im probalay not going to have it done in time.

Bookmark this. Type showview in the box and click "Go".

See this is just the kind of thing i need for my maps. Imagin the jumps i could make on a landscape. I think I should keep my focus on the map editing with this kind of stufff comming around. Thats vary well done coding.

Hey does anyone know how to change the devastater fire into firelaser shots? im only good at editing code already made. so i thought something like the pistal and desvastaer fire would have been done long ago. i kind of want to figger out what works for my edited guns.

Off the top of my head, but it should work and is very ruff and I suspect it to look very wrong. But add this one of your CONS.

Which I keep getting sick of messages telling me so. :lol:

If I was making a GTA: San Andreas mod for DN then that would work well. But the mater of the fact is that its GTA 1, not San Andreas.

And I'm sure that he doesn't like to show case something here that he probably spent a fuck load of effort on just to be told that it should be in DTA in the next few posts.

I agree. Letting people borrow your work is fine, and I recommend it, but at least let them release it in their own project first before you, the unrelated party, start clamoring that THIS person deserves THAT person's work. Especially something huge like this.

yeah, i agree. i would'nt be here sharing my map designs just to have someone else says thats there work. but i definitly want to share how i did it so others can do the same and exceed me. the CODE work is'nt easy and credit should goto who deserves it.

also, umm i was looking at the GTA1 map (erlayer copy). and i mite know a few ways to boost the FPS in it?... i just thought to mention. thanks for the help in the CODE.
