Neither do. It got torn out in the insane interest of running Windows 95 without crashing, and neither Daum nor X feature actual speed improvements over a standard SVN build.

His screenshot :
and mine from Blood for comparison sake, though of course his stuff is WIP.
So yeah, basically anything regarding hitscan and projectile is redone from scratch either by looking at the code he's dig up or by "empirical" feeling.
I honestly don't believe you can nail Blood that way. You may get something that looks like it with a lot of work.
There are more screenshots if anyone cares.
He hasn't disappointed me yet. I'm at the point where I don't think it needs to have all the original bugs and quirks, and now that I know that I've enjoyed the other remakes he's done, I look forward to it if he's looking to pursue it to completion. Powerslave EX is quite solid even though he calls it a beta.

What project is that from?

It's a quiet project that probably won't have a website like Doom 64 EX or Powerslave EX, the website MetHy is talking about is a place on 4chan where the project was leaked before.
Let's keep it hush hush.

Not sure about the super serious part, Blood 2 as a whole is definitely funnier and goofier than the original.
Just look:

Can anyone share the MIDI files from the Blood alpha? I'm having a hard time tracking them down.

The description in that video contains download links to both the SC-55 music as well as MIDI files from both retail and the pre-release version.

Ah yes, that's mine. Link is in my signature. Generally, anything MIDI-oriented around the early 90s was designed for the SC-55 specifically (before that it was the MT-32). And if it wasn't it was one of the top supported MIDI devices at least. An exception would be the Gravis Ultrasound.

Probably, but it was designed for the SC-55 (the SC-88 has a compatible SC-55 mode). Or rather the internal sound card variant, actually I think. One of the SCC card lines. The full SC-88 library and effects were what Lee Jackson used for the Redbook audio track for the extended Duke3D theme on the Atomic CD. But the MIDI soundtrack in the game was composed for the SC-55.

Start a crowdfunding, but based on what exactly?!
Only someone who has access to the sourcecode and who has already made some sort of deal with the right owner with crowdfunding as backup could start a crowdfunding with some sort of base to it.
Also I am sure that, in this day and age, everyone who has tried to acquire the rights to Blood (=several publishers and devs in the past few years) have thought of the possibility of crowdfunding already.... But IIRC Atari is asking like 1 million or some bullshit unreachable amount.
Jace is nuts. This is just cocktease.
