No Methy I haven't used any cheats.

I did the very first time I played but thanks to HighTreason's LP I could finish it more than once without cheating and nothing ever unlocked :/

Should probably go and recheck the randomizer while doing this as well.

Stuff receiving updates so far:
- Fixing menu compatibility with newer versions of EDuke32.
- Some credit typos.

Any ETA on this update? Just asking since I am aiming for an update of the addon compilation around X-Mas and it'd be nice to have this fix included if possible. ^^

If nobody comes across with extra bugs or other mishaps they've found, we can push this update for christmas, yeah.

I kind of do not want to necro the development thread to get the team's attention, though, so if ANY MAPPER ON DUKE HARD (hello?) has any fixes they would like to do in their maps, come out from your hiding. I'll go through the details with MetHy and check the code-side issues with Hendricks266.

Feel free to bump this thread if we haven't come out with the patch when the release date draws near.

I guess the time for a bump has arrived. If nobody has come up with anything else to add to the episode, I'd already be happy with the fix for the menu. :thumbsup:

I can't even remember what the credit typos were, but the menu stuff is clear. I was just wondering if there's any E32 updates for the cutscene stuff, if we could make that stuff work better. If not, I'll just get to fixing those two issues.

It can wait for another 10 days if needed, till Dec 31 if it really can't be helped. Would like to be ready for an Xmas release still, though. ^^

Duke Hard 1.2 will happen within the few following days, cross my fingers. Sorry about the delay, chistmas and all that jazz.

In other news, a Half-Life mod with a similar theme arrives, though I can't be sure if it's inspired by the DOOM mod or us.

I have the fixed CON files and the map changes, but not the time to test it. Not sure if MetHy has the time to go through it.

What's the purpose of the update anyway? Does it not work with the latest release of Eduke? Bahhh I shouldn't have been so lazy.. I just read further up and noticed it has to do with menu functionality and credits... If we are doing an update it would have been nice if the update could have incorporated a multiplayer option in the menu system for select maps that offer the ability of multiplayer for down the road as well as an update to those user maps that could potentially have this functionality. Perhaps this type of feature could only be unlocked after the episode has been completed in single player. Just thinking out loud. The roof top map \ parkade and a handful of other maps in the episode would be awesome for Duke Death match / Co-op if implemented.

There is a glitch (visual, not functional) with the main menu, at least as far as I remember.

Ah, the E1L8 user map issue returns. What EDuke32 version are you using? It should be found on the first two lines of your eduke32.log.

I downloaded, unzip, but nothing change. When i finish the floor number 7, the game restart. Strange!
