Damn, unless it's like a really early November release then I won't get to play this until next year as I imagine Fallout 4 will take me through until the end of the year.

I don't think the bit about co-op was talked about; I thought it was originally planned but then canned completely, didn't know they might still make co-op

Well. 26th of November it should be coming out. :)
Looking forward to console release.

Edit: it now has a steam page - but still no price for either deluxe or just the game. :)

I don't want to sound nitpicking about gameplay but I think there are some balance issues, for example 250 health (and 200 armor too) is way too much IMO. I think both health and armor should be 100 at beginning of the game and get upgraded (by 5-10 points) as you level up them and then you can have 200 or 250 health/armor as maximum possible. And yeah I know enemies currently deal heavy damage but all of this stuff could be rebalanced, I am sure gameplay would be much better that way. To me 250 health at beginning seems a bit too much. :)

How does that idea sound? :)

EDIT: Other than that, Bombshell seems quite promising.

Is 250 the default?

"250! The new 100!"
Hehehe

It is still relative...
I remember reading a study based on standup video games from the 80's. It stated in testing that a game which scores "100" for a task completed, like dispatching the Space Invader, was much more successful than the same game which scoring "10". Just a change in coding to add a zero or two and people would play it more. Perception. Just sayin'...

Is it normal that the price on a game is unknown 3 weeks before release? :)

Good point... I hadn't even thought of that. I must admit I haven't even looked for a price though.
Is it normal that only one person (that I have seen) pointed this out?
Your post made me think of the only couple of games I have ever pre-ordered and that was many months in advance.

I have been looking for a price since.. Well early July when release was supposed to be late August. :)
Personally the price of the game will have an effect if I buy the game or not. Is it Rise of The Triad priced or Shadow Warrior...?

No doubt the price would have been x% higher if the game had Duke Nukem as lead and not Bombshell.
However having no price on either pages (Steam, FB etc.) is just strange 3 weeks before release. Thanks for the answer though, MrBlackCat.

I'm glad they listened to the audience and reworked the design of the character. I rather like the way Bombshell looks. They struck the right balance.

Yeah, because it wasn't like a bunch of us weren't bitching about the design or anything.

Hey, Fresch, can we get "Lameshell" with Jack Power Colt? Because that would be awesome.

About the pricing, on the steam forums one of the devs at 3DRealms said the deluxe edition would be around the 40 dollar range, so probably around 30 for the base game.
Deluxe edition also has exclusive beta access to the Build engine prequel (though I don't think that means the beta will release the same day, not entirely sure)

Yeah just saw that. Thanks Hulk. :)
Still strange that there is no official price.

Really long interview with Josh Olin, vice president of communications at 3D Realms, on Joe Rogan's podcast. There's a bit of Bombshell talk from around 1 hour 35 minute mark. Game is $39. Plus heaps of talk about his dismissal from Turtle Rock, and outrage culture.
