While I am not particularly happy that the player gets stuck at the end of Faces of Death, that map is playable in Deathmatch in the PSX version, so I can't touch it. Although I added more player start points in Quirk of Fate to make a total of eight, otherwise it's disastrous.

Your face, your face, what's the difference?

Greatest censorship ever.

Where did the Teen version come from? I'm surprised there is a separate release, haven't read about it anywhere.
EDIT: It's the Japanese version, apparently.

There's also a South Korean censored version of the original Duke Nukem 3D.

Actually, it sounds far more racist that way.

good point. i can't believe that they did the one-liner that way. i mean come on. there's alternatives to the word "ass", yet they didn't even bother to choose one

Not quite, but what it does do is show that Eurocom did a great job actually trying to give the N64 version an identity and not half-ass it. That "Trimph of the Duke" animation in the theatre looks absolutely horrible, and the rather choppy cut of "Those Alien bastards are gonna pay for shooting up my ride" and "your face your face whats the difference?" Just... Come on! Totally half-assed. With the N64 version they at least tried to make tweaks and changes that still fit the character, and came up with some more "appropriate" one liners for Duke (still paying homage to action movies) like "In a perfect world, you'd already be DEAD." or "You're the disease, and i'm the cure!"

Ehhh... Still, it is interesting to see this piece of history. I thought TM had already been partially censored anyway, and that the lock out function was available?

well that is true. i was just saying that Duke Nukem 64 at least had some 3D like elements to it compared to the japanese version of TM. that's like there version of a half-assed version of what Duke Nukem 64 could of been

They forgot to censor the "Play" magazine? Of all sprites that's the most explict!

It is. But there is no way back, so the player either dies or end the level.

Totally need to go through all the files now.

Edit: I had a brief look (but didn't play much because the controls shit me):
In Raw Meat, the geisha girls don't function at all and the "push her button" girl is wearing a dress
In Red Light District, the shelves in the store seem to have different books for reading. The booths also have a changed screen saying "Under Attack" with a nuke logo in the middle. The hooker is also missing in the bar.

I think the shelves are just mirrored, as it has always been in the PSX.

So they removed all posters with woman wearing bikinis, but put a bikini on the naked one?

Meh... they should have implemented a parental lock instead of raping the game.

The weird part is that the texture in the actual map is 181 (like the floor in the main hall). I am starting to think it's a hack added by one of the developers as a protest.

It's possible those were added to prevent some sort of copyright or something. That was the game room in the Ministry of Fear and it showed tv screens of various video games, some perhaps that were based off of real life games.
