I'm not sure about it, but I think I'll get used to it though.

If you are using FireFox4. Disable hardware acceleration in browser options, for sharper fonts and thus improved readability.
I wanted brighter font color for posts, but FireFox was playing tricks on me. More than decent readability now.

There seems to be an issue with quotes since it adds all that blank space.

Testing
It seems to happen when I quote someone

Also, I wonder...

So the titles have been replaced with an ego bar, how does that work and what does 100% mean?

You see how it works, and it means nothing, it's just a fun replacement of boring pips.

Can I get a screenshot of what you mean? They look okay here.

It isn't consistent and it was worse on the computer I used on campus (I bet the Firefox version is in the low 3's and it is a Mac).
It may be just that post though.
Maybe it is a CSS thing and how the browser interprets it. I'm using FF4 on Windows 7 64 bit.

Wow, that is pretty messed up. I'll have to keep an eye out for what causes that...

I've seen it maybe once in Chrome on Linux, but it was gone when I refreshed. It's an interesting glitch.

Well Yatta,
Websites looking very cool.

Only issue I'd raise is that some of the text is too dark, maybe brighten it up a wee bit? Look at some of the quotes, the text is hard on the eyes.

I'd appreciate an option to ignore images in signatures.

I'd appreciate no images in signatures. I feel like some users have signatures which are just too big. I mean, more than a few lines of text is just a bit too much in my opinion. Shouldn't your actual post be longer than your signature?

So... what about the grace period for edits? When there won't be a "message was edited etc." line when I edited it within 2-3 minutes?

I agree with this. I hate the new desgin, and the lack of contrast is really, really hard for me as I'm colour blind.

I wasn't expecting the new desgin to be so dark and generic, I much prefer the old desgin. I'm sure you've upgraded this forum with cool new features, but it now sucks.

I can't believe this "new" desgin is just a rip off of the Nightstrike theme.

I also HATE when you quote something, theres a big gap between the top of your post and the quote itself, it looks un-neat. Unlike the old desgin, where the quote was right a the top.

I also hate the sigs are in little black boxes now. It sucks.

That's a bug in certain browsers, and how they read the site's CSS. Which browser are you using?

The color when you recieve a PM needs to be BIG FAT and RED.

Yeah that is no longer relevant, the issue is fixed at the moment.

What do you think about the ability to upload .map files?

I thought you already could, but if not, is it really a hassle to just .zip em?

I get "the quote bug" using IE 9.

Holy batshit, Robin! I am away for a few hours to watch a movie and the forums are restructured? Nice, this will increase the number of "wrong forum" comments but it at least organizes things better.

So DNF can be modded? It has it's own section?

Well, I think that is because someone apparently modded the leaked version to carry all of the guns. The lack of editing tools may hamper the modding community though...

How about topic ratings? You could either:
-Add up all the upreps and subtract all the downreps in the topic
-Show rating of the first post
-Have a separate topic rating
-Add up all the posts with a net gain in rep and subtract all the posts with a net loss in rep
-Something else I couldn't think of

It would make it easier to find topics that are suddenly becoming popular, or that lots of people like. Kind of like being on Digg or Reddit (which do a good job of showing you good content).

There is already a popularity rating for topics. It consists of number of views and posts.
