I'd borrow the design from 3DR. There you could hardly notice that a blacklisted person has made a comment and the only way to view ignored comments was to modify preferences.

If this forum insists on feeding his/her/its psychosis by allowing him/her/it to stay, the forum should at least provide us with an effective ignore function.

Soon, soon! We're doing a forum overhaul before DNF's release.
New design, backend, and everything. Better spoiler tags and ignore functions will be part of that.

No seriously Destiny is seriously becoming a problem, jeez Plagman already deleted his account once! Doesn't that say enough?

I thought that was just a bunch of posts he deleted?

This was from May 2009, does anyone want it? If you tell me what template and what script you guys use, anyone can start scribbling something, email it to you and whoever has the admin access can import it.
All I use is NetObject Fusion for the up front stuff. But I also have Qt Creator for very slick behind the scenes web programming. The only languages I will not touch is C and "English", all others - no problem.

All we have right now is that concept design. If you or anyone can program a secure database or even integrate the backend with an existing CMS, I'd be more than glad to make the concept come to life.

Okay, looking at the picture, I see it could be done in flash with the simple layout. It's easy and I already see almost everyone has Flash editors (I use Flash 8 professional). Unless I am mistaken, it could be done that way.

How about, no titles? Simply 'Member'. Besides, I'm Hank, period.
Plus one less thing to put in a data base
#322 Posted 07 February 2011 - 04:04 PM
Although I may be biased, I like titles and the customization of them. I also like the slight hierarchy of the titles since it gives a sense of how much a user has contributed. Of course, it may benefit from adding a factor of how long a person has been around.

Sorry to ask again but my memory is bad, and the post with the answer seems to have gone.

I'm against it. It's bad enough to be faced with huge images. YouTube is a collector for trash. In Fire Fox you can use Interclue. Simply hover with your mouse over the link, it will show a square box of the YouTube logo, move the mouse over that and it will give you a hint preview if this is any good or a troll trap. - In IE8 not sure, right click and open a new tab I guess, or get Websnar.
