I never meant to give the impression that I hated Grabbag. I still like it. I should have mentioned that. It just seems to me that everyone has been saying they're sick of it for a number of years now. I'm just glad that they actually used something else from the Duke soundtrack for once. It never gets any love or attention.

Doubt it'll happen with the Duke5 trailers because Gearbox will likely use some popular modern song for promotion.

It's my favorite too! I used to have this Matrix screensaver that you could add music too, modify the colors of, and display web pages in a box in the corner or something. I always used Alien Reactor from ReDuked Someone over at Devolver must really browse these forums a lot to have found it...

Yeah, I know it might be too much work for what they're aiming for, but IMO they really should add some skyboxes, or at least have the option to toggle them on/off to avoid that horrible solid colour that appears above the sky textures. (Assuming that they'd make them from scratch of course).

I'll wait for reviews and gameplay videos.
I hope that the devs will release the source and that the new opengl engine will be ported to eduke32.

What do you possibly expect the gameplay videos to look like?
But yeah can't wait for them to release the source.
Does anyone else think it's confusing now having 2 threads about this? Conversation has become very disjointed.

I was also a bit dissappointed that it lacks separate volume bars for sfx and music.

Interestingly I recall encountering the exact same phenomenon (at the same place.. well, outside; still on the same walls more or less), using vanilla DN3D for DOS - and even version 1.3d.
Some old glitch lacking an explain, or maybe someone has figured that out by chance?
