First off, the thread is rant thread. Second, it's not just that he is happy about DNF/Duke, but he has to bring "god" into everything. Whilst not realizing not all share his believes of either DNR or god. It would be as insulting for him, if I was to copy&paste "there is no god" after every post of mine.

Also, blind fanaticism doesn't take nothing no where, the contribution of such posts are closer to zero.

You kind of got a good point there about the "God" part. Well, I'm sure Rockmx8 could stop using "God" in all of his posts if he wanted to, but it isn't going to change his enthusiasm for Duke and DNF.

You have to understand that the people coming over here are some
of the biggest fans of DNF, that there is a rant thread over here on the forums
is just that people care about the game and to blow of some steam for fun. If something is released in the near future everything will be forgotten and we will be the first in line to be supportive and spread the word about this game.

If you have already seen something from the game I believe you, what youre connection is with 3DRealms I don't know. Some people such as Shacknews has seen the game recently and could not talk about it, that some other people has seen it seems obvious. Let's forget this, and move on.

Once again, I get the feeling that something else has gone wrong. SM contradicted the reported late '08 goal when he said it would probably just miss it and be pushed into early '09. Almost December now and no media, no hype - no nothing! I'd say any possible release is now pushed back to this time next year at the earliest! Another restart and they'll not only miss this next generation of games, they're not gonna be too far off in missing an entire generation of consoles!

Well I can guarantee that there is no more restarts, DNF is coming along to completion by 2009 for sure, the media is definitely on it way faster too. They just have used the little media so far to hold us for the big media coming before the end of this year, trust me it's coming...

You're right there! Heck no, we're not trying to make anyone angry here. We have just as much respect for you guys as you should have for us. Yeah, Rock goes a little bit over the top sometimes, but what do you expect? Duke is awesome! If you guys don't like the "God" part of Rock's posts, then just ignore them. That is his belief and he should have the right to express it. And if you guys want to post anti-God remarks in your comments, then we'll just ignore them as well.

Hell, sometimes I don't like some of the comments made here, but I don't complain about them. I just keep my mouth shut, go about my business and no conflicts are made.
