I don't think I piss people off with my optimism, it actually whips this dumb negativity we have on the boards from many people about DNF. It's not stupid to give people good REAL HOPE for DNF.

I'm telling you I know it's been long a time man, but 3DR will definitely deliver DNF like no other game we've seen. It's their cream of the crop you can say, therefore I feel they will make it their very best. Trust me DNF is going to Rock Hard and Kick Huge Amounts Of Ass it will be funny and glorious etc...

As a Duke fan I respect you all, if I have offended you guys by being positive enough then I apologize. However there's a fine line of difference between being worried about DNF and being Negative regularly in person.

I've been following it since I first played Duke 3D back in 96 I think it was, then I heard about them making DNF. Now it's finally coming and I'm happy up until now since amazing progress is coming along very well with it...

3D Realms has a nack of frustrating the hell out of its fans. They starve us for news and it forces us to come up with conspiracies. They make comments that are so vague and unclear that they could be interpreted in many ways and have different meanings which sends us into a frenzy trying to decipher what they truly mean. "stay tuned" is a perfect example of this. How long does stay tuned mean? or "We are in the polishing stages". What exactly is the polishing stage?

Can't you just be clear with your fans for once? We have suffered enough.


When you think about it having faith in DNF is like believing in god. You don't know if it is all lies or if it truly is real.

I wasn't referring to only this thread, but the whole forums. You'd think a Duke fan site would be dedicated to complimenting DNF and everything Duke related, but most of the time that doesn't seem to be the case here.
