That does look good!

I tend to agree that a bit more dramatic lighting or AO may have benefited the models, but with the project at this advanced stage, I wouldn't want to chuck all that, or worse, have some of the models lit differently than the rest, which would give a very strange effect.

Overall, I'm impressed at how much has been done and the general quality of it.

For future reference, you can check here for some funky HDR images that should work with the Lara thing you've got.

I'd say its maybe 45% done.
I'm still working on it from time to time, but Its a lot of work and I dont have a lot of time on my hands, I will get this mod finished though, However I think I'll just make a sprite overhaul rather than an entire overhaul since its my first time modding DN3D, it wont be perfect but it'll be ok I guess :(

Well all the FPS weapons are new sprites, the Trooper, Pigcop, Enforcer, Commander, Slimer, Octabrain and 2 bosses have new HQ sprites along with some babes, pick ups and some new sounds ;) I'd say there's enough for a solid beta ;)

I´m gonna check this mod out the day it is uploaded in a proper site, like Mediafire or Fileplanet. Hell, even Moddb allows you to upload several hundred Mb files.

None of those sites are any good, Mediafire wont upload it because its too big, Fileplanet sucks, Rapidshare is god awful and I just finished uploading it on Moddb and it has to await bloody approval, That site it's on now is the only one I could find that works.

Duke Nukem 3D: Forever (HRP compatible) [200MiB]
I have reduced texture sizes with PNGOUT, taken care of warning/error messages and repackaged the stuff to make it compatible to the HRP.
Put it into your autoload folder or unzip it to your Eduke32 directory.
Switch off models in the renderer setup when using the HRP. (Or put r_models "0" into your autoexec.cfg or settings.cfg.)

Thanks, I was just about to repackage it myself. Wesker500 granted me control over the project. It's still his mod, though, but I'm now in charge of adding everything in.

Before anyone complains about the sprites being stretched and squeezed, I'm in the process of fixing it all.

Menu font fixed. Had to go a little smaller because the ammo numerals were going out of the right side of the viewing area. The only problem this is going to cause is in the maps where the text is on the walls.

What a great mod! Really looking forward for you guys finishing it! Are you having any intentions on "foreverizing" the soundtrack as well?

Also, this mod is just great! I really like it! In case nobody has pointed this out yet, when Duke is swimming, he returns to his old glorious self from the 1990s. I noticed this on Raw Meat, when I used a Holoduke underwater.
