A lot of pics from the earlier posts in this thread just show up as "Posted Image"...I'm guessing they were either deleted from the hosting site or something else happened.

Does anyone here have them saved elsewhere, and can they be reposted for those of us who missed on on getting them the first time around?

DNF Devastator given the Duke 3D treatment. Used the Duke 3D Devastator as positioning reference, so it may be used as a graphic replacement. As for the blue, I know it will be translated with player color, but I have it that way due to the bluish metal on the respective parts of the model.

The only firstperson tile that changes pal based on player pants color is the Mighty Foot.

Other than the one OCD part of my brain that screams "WHERE'S THE PICKUP SPRITE?!" (I'm currently telling that part of my brain to shut the hell up before I subject it to some random song I hate), I have no problems with this. :whistling:

That actually looks pretty good! I may just go and replace the original Devastator in my EDuke32 folder for Duke It Out in DC with this one, now... :whistling:

It's Hoth. I only used Xtreme as a base since I actually had Minigunner's Xtreme Devastator 'widescreen extended' sprites so I swapped the sprites around.

Do you have pick up sprite for this? I would really like to use this weapon on a mod I'm working atm.

FPS Creator Classic has gone open source, and they've also released what looks like all of the model packs that were commercially available for free as well. There's bound to be some useful stuff for either models or voxels, here's a list of what each model pack contains.

Yeah the directory structure is a bit of a clusterfuck and all of the models are in *.X file format (Milkshape can open them, I'm guessing blender has plug-ins and stuff) but still, a huge pile of open source assets is pretty damn useful.

apart from tearing apart all of its content, I think it´s a good thing that the tool became open source. I don´t remember finding a good mod made with it but maybe now, who knows, people get to improve it and make good content with it.

Apologies for bumping this just to ask a potentially stupid question, but did anyone ever sprite the Sonic Resonator that only appears as a pickup in LameDuke?

Talk to Drek, he did a model of it, which, if anything, you could make sprites or voxels from.

Oh, and Blender2.49 will read the files from FPS creator.
