Cool contributions Geoffrey!

On the note about the Hellraiser stuff, you've posted some stuff I haven't seen before, but what I have seen before was also in JPG. I doubt the lossless exists on the interwebs.

Here is the pistol model with Millenia's hand model (Blender 2.62). It is rigged, but it dosen't have the animations. It includes textures in 1024 PNG format.

Hello guys. I'm looking for a model of portable lamp.
Something like that:

I've been looking here, here and here, but haven't found anything.

In that screen the lamp is barely visible.

You want something like this?

Was it Fox who made that day-time version of the LA night sky? It should definitely be posted here.

Alright, the low poly drum set is done... there's more unused skin space than I would have liked, but oh well... it doesn't seem to be much of a resource hog anyways, as it uses no normal/specular maps.
Feel free to reduce skin resolution (it uses two 1024x1024 PNGs) if you think that will help!

The .def file should include these lines (changing them to whatever paths and whatever tile replacement you want to use):

model "highres/sprites/props/drumset.md3"
{
scale 1 shade 0

skin { pal 0 surface 0 file "highres/sprites/props/dwfinish.png" }
skin { pal 0 surface 1 file "highres/sprites/props/cymbals.png" }

frame { name "still" tile 983 }
}

I did not make any of these, all from 3DR, 01 and 03 come from the pre-release DN3D shareware (I think 0.99) the rest from the final release, I put them together and they seem to make a better and longer death for Duke, not sure how to get these to work in the game.

Doesn't look too bad. I always thought the original pain-state for Duke looked like he was yelling to someone across the street.

Yeah, I thought that too. With the top one here it looks more like he is really in pain, but I think if the 8 were used for his death animation it would look smoother, but I have no idea how to add that to the game so I posted in case someone else wanted to.

That's a completely different tile, though that one is in the full game as well. That tile is used a lot in sewers. I don't know if the blue trim bit ever got used in game, but I know it's very popular in user-maps.

I have been trying to con Scott Miller into releasing the old versions of Duke on Facebook, so far nothing, so I'll just keep at it. That beta Pig Cop is the definition of: "Damn, you're ugly!"

Me too, especially the Lizard men with the red armour and the pig cops with the two barrelled shotgun.

It's from an old magazine. Someone found it and posted it in this thread.

Updated the first post with a rudimentary index of posts with content.

I found about a dozen models with a Bladerunner theme maybe 6 months ago. I don't remember where I found them. I'll post a pic of one model in hopes that someone might recognize where they came from. I searched for over an hour for some TC or add-on using these but could not find anything. There is this cop car, a few other space-age looking cars and trucks, a few fancy columns, streetlight and parking meter. If no one objects after a while I will pass them on here. Everything was conveniently provided. Models, skins, art file and defs.

Don't worry about that, just post them now and then if there is a problem they can be taken down then :)

I've been messing around with some of the Duke 64 weapons to make them look a bit snazzier and vanilla Duke friendly without having additional defs. One thing that bugs me though is that I don't get how to get the shotgun and RPG to light up the HUD sprites when fired like the rest of the weapons. It makes the muzzle flashes look quite ugly when firing in dark environments.

Original rips by Fox.

Not particularily bad, but the Shotgun and Missile Launcher didn't have muzzle flashes in the original, so is it really necessary to add it? Also I don't know why you changed the blue and red lights in the Missile Launcher since it obviously was made for Duke palette.
