I also get the laggy cutscene, but I have NO idea what's causing it. On my old PC the game used to lag up around the transition after the boss fight, but that ending scene was fine.

This will break savegames! it contains new gameplay code, so if you install this patch (by unzipping into the AMC TC directory) don't try to load your savegames as it will cause errors. Any research and weapons you've found/bought will remain in place, as long as your data folder is kept safe.

In order to unlock the Riotgun-minigun topic, you'll need to go back into weapons research and look at the Battlelord chaingun topic again. This should unlock the proper research for you if you've found the Riotgun as well.

About the crash: I couldn't load the save game, but I'll probably be able to see it (unless it's already fixed) by looking at the cutscene map. So, which is it? Don't want to spoil the fun by searching them all.
edit: An update to the latest synthesis eduke32 is strongly encouraged, since filing bug reports will be more effective.

I should of included a new snapshot with the patch but on the other hand they're very frequent lately so I didn't want to include an outdated exe with a normal patch. When I repackage and re-release the proper patched version to moddb I will include the latest snapshot at that point.
EDIT: If you deleted your savegame, as long as your .cfg file remains you can jump straight into any level you've already beaten. Just head to the armory in the underground base section and go left; past the evidence computer is the mission select computer. Jump to the second base map if you're already past abyss

Edit: That means, I can't turn the planets anymore, no matter what I do, after I pressed strafe right.
Pressing strafe left makes it switch correctly, and the arrows to the right and the left can't be clicked it seems.

I suspect the snow effect cause very low fps on final ending cutscene because it's nears that area...just a guess.
(I still try running on that map to get witch saved...)
EDIT : ...I did found out why I can't get the saving witch ending...OH SHIT I DID SOME STUPID SHIT....../facepalm
Ok, I think due my stupidity for cheating with god mode for lazy to load my savegame after read the diary and then my Sang got killed (by those damn enemies ) before the communication cutscene between James and Sang. If I do cheat God mode to relive my Sang, then I won't get the alt. conversation until I read that book again...if I read again and trigger the cutscene then I get the alt. conversation...
Hmm, looks like at first time I DIDN'T realize I always got the normal conversation due my stupid lazy cheating...I was thought I triggered alt. one but in fact, it's not...You can just blame me... >_<"

However, i have to list some bugs, i don't know if they are already known:
- I think fascists' laser was already avaialble to soldiers before i researched it
- Many times the MP40, M4 and hell weapons in the weapon room are not present
- MP40 appeared in the room before i found it, also for the katana, which i never found... or i don't remember it
- I prefered to save Lilith, but it has been a quite hard because weapons track her automatically, even if i disable autoaim
- weapons with zoom need a better recalc of z angle, moreover i don't like the screen wacking when firing with barrett rifle because it resets the aim ... maybe it's better to act on horiz and horizoff

As for the sign in Snow base...we did have people in the team express concern towards it but I didn't veto it's inclusion since it's pretty vague and I didn't want to interfere with Mikko's map. There are serious subject matters and stuff that could potentially be crossed in the future...and at the end of the day AMC TC is an adult TC (even ignoring the comedy side of it there's horrific violence, plenty of swearing and minor nudity in some places)
