I may try to go to bed again but unless I get this homework done tonight I won't want to be in class tomorrow.

I didn't go to class today because when my alarm went off I still had a headache. I'm feeling OK now but I'm not pushing my luck with anything. I'll just get the school work done that I need to get done and then hopefully be able to get the administrative stuff I needed to get done at school all week.

Tea always helps too.

You have to pick the nettles yourself and eat the spare ones too if you want to do it properly.
#2020 Posted 06 October 2010 - 11:32 AM
Nah, realistically, teabags cost money, which is something I don't have, nettles actually grow in my garden and that doesn't cost anything at all. I bought some expensive nettle tea bags once and it tasted like grass and made me feel sleepy, nettles are supposed to have the opposite effect. Interestingly they can thin the blood or thicken the blood depending on what state the nettle is in before you use it.
The council came the other week though and cut the things down, they were only supposed to cut the grass, I hope they grow back.
Why am I reminded of Salad Fingers...

The council is nothing as glorified as all that Star Wars nonsense, I've just been on their website http://www.hullcc.gov.uk/ - bloody hull fair is coming, I hate the fair... I shouldn't really, given that I am descended from a bunch of Gypsies and carnies, but meh, who cares.
Come to think of it, my house is deemed unfit for human dwelling, built in 1936, the house features concrete walls and a roof that are held up by a steel frame that is somewhat rotten, this place is held up by air at this point. The council took the loft insulation out and wired the place backwards, they keep causing major gas leaks under my floor too - I don't care because I turn the gas off. There is no cavity wall insulation - I hate that crap anyway though, I like a cold house, 10°C is my ideal temp. There are cracks that I can almost fit my hand into and the kitchen floor slopes about 15° towards the corner of the room... Quite useful if you spill something because there is a gap under the wall and all the spilled liquid (be it acids or water) run under there and meet the already rusty steel that is supposed to huld the place up. Said steel is only supported by a few inches of clay, there aren't any foundations.
This whole city is a similar story, it's stuck in the 1980's and the ground is clay so everything subsides or sinks after a year or so anyway.
