The multiplayer is being worked on with someone else, correct? TerminX would be helping/overseeing with the Android port. Plagman has his other responsibilities that we are all well aware of. Hendricks was recently promoted to the position you found so should not be expected to tackle a huge task like that just yet. Helix... I don't really know him

Helix's focus for the past year or so has been Lunatic, which involves a whole new scripting language derived from Lua, as well as a new map format and possibly lots of other smaller changes under the hood.

TerminX has stated that someone else was working on the multiplayer code, but that person finished what they were supposed to do ages ago. TerminX was always going to do the rest of the stuff necessary to complete the code.
