3dwizard is more of an ass. Quite frankly, I think some people over exaggerate the douchiness of CultureShock. He at least contributed some decent conversation while 3dwizard is just trolling this thread/forum. Only his posts in this section were particularly annoying and he at least never made outrageous demands about releasing crap from 3DR. He was very much I don't care, it won't happen, you will never see the game so stfu.
Also, CultureShock was UK while 3dwizard claims to have worked at an Ubisoft in Romania.

The lawyers that are dealing with this trial might help Take Two's cause if they learned about this video videolink censored for duke4.net that has leaked on the internet from a 3d realms developer and has been continuously taken down at the request of 3d Realms and George Broussard! I have been able to download it from youtube and now I constantly re upload it in order to keep it a public video!
I have also emailed this video to Mr. Strauss Zelnick which has thanked me for my interest in helping Take Two!
If it is needed I can attach that video to a future mail as proof in case it gets taken down again from youtube!
It is a video where Take Two, Gearbox and 3d Realms are seen to be credited for the Duke Nukem Forever title, there is also gameplay shown with a music background!

You can probably blame core fans here for grabbing the leaked footage and passing it around between themselves and making little fan videos and at some point, the footage gets far enough from the source that it leaks.

I don't see this making any difference in the outcome of the lawsuit. If 3D Realms was responsible for the leak or had any involvement in it, then yes, I can see it being beneficial to Take2. I actually see this leak a win for 3DR. Well, it's damaging to both Take2 and 3DR. If the game was exploited to a certain point, then Take2 wouldn't want to touch it. But at the same time, it would be bad for 3DR and DNF itself.
Another thing, I don't see why this footage is such a big deal. Bryan Brewer's demo reel + the shitload of screens/documents were more substantial than this. Yes, I agree, the logos should've never been mixed with the recently released footage. However, the footage alone shouldn't be that big of a deal. From what I heard, it's demo footage from an ex-employee's website and it's only normal for it to be posted on the web to help the poor guy get a job. And Take2 should not use this or any of the previously released media against 3DR.

Take a good look at all the media that was leaked since last year and you will come to the same conclusion. NiCE cinematics - Poor graphics - cliche gameplay. That western map looks like complete crap and not only it looks like crap but it doesn't feel like a duke nukem level at all.
When I first saw that map in the screenshots I thought what the hell that is not Duke Nukem, that's Call of freakin Juarez!

Seriously did you even see the golden pistol? It looks like it's from a 1990 game, it's so low poly and so lifeless. Compare it with the cool kick ass looking pistol from Duke 3d and you will realize very fast how the DNF one is a big pos!
I really don't want this game to be what I waited for so much. It's beyond disappointing and the only hope to see something better is if this get scrapped and a remake is done by a Take Two dev team. Creativity or not, another team can't screw this game more than it already is. Just look at those official media pictures and ask yourself if Take Two can make the game worse than it looks there!

Graphics don't make games more entertaining, did you know that? I've had more fun with games with simpler graphics than with Crysis.
Also, talking about graphics, Halo 3was a crap of a game to me concerning the graphics, but I found it quite entertaining. And yes, I know that the Hype killed that game, but the fun factor is what people liked more from that game, not its uber-dynamic and over-the-top graphics.

Well, everything I've seen so far related to DNF has looked fun. With regards to graphics/levels, people tend to first flesh them out into a complete game, then go back and tweak things and add lots of detail. DNF probably just hasen't gone through enough of those detail adding iterations. But what I can tell you is this, perhaps it doesn't need to...
Here's a history lesson for those that forgot: When Duke 3D and Quake was released there were huge (heated) debates on which was better. Quake ran on way superior technology that could blow Doom right out of the water - Duke3D on the other hand ran on an engine that could comfortably compete with Doom, but lets face it, technologically it wasn't fit to compete with Quake's engine... yet, Duke3D was the better game in my opinion. And you really had those two camps, people who preferred graphics and people who preferred gameplay. That's why Duke3D did so well despite the tech it was running on. Don't get me wrong, I love the Build engine and I think it made huge leaps past what Doom's engine was capable of, but it definitely wasn't Quake's engine - and guess what, it didn't matter, because it was fun.

No need to bother anymore people, nobody sent me any replies from take two. They obviously don't care about random strangers like me and I knew this since day 1 but I tried at least.

But again with DNF, A game doesnt need to be graphically advanced to succeed. By looking at the leaked pics and footage it looks good. It looks like what a game should be. We dont need "COD Modern Warfare2" graphics to make a really good game. DNF looks like the gameplay would be amazing and it would be outstanding when it comes out. But the hype wont live up to the game. Again though, It depends on the game your making. If its in the horror genre then its OK to have high poly models and superb textures, But a shooter like DNF it shouldnt need all that.
