The overall story that started in New Invasion and continued through DC and SG will be concluded in the final episode when Duke, Bombshell, Deanova and "Mando" finally make it to earth and they join forces with Wes and the human resistance fighters. It will be bigger than the other episodes.

While playing, on DIG if that makes a difference, when I was shooting from the ice gun at the moment of reload blade guy took damage and I could no longer switch weapons, this changed when I fired one more shot from the ice gun and it reloaded then it allowed for weapon switching.

Yeah I've had that happen to a couple of times. It's rare but it happens. I have not taken a thorough dive into the code, but it's definitely caused by a logic error on my part relating to adding reload on a weapon slot that doesn't normally have that feature.

That second shot is where the atomic switch ending pops up and that red wall is its backdrop so I'm gonna leave that in.

I don't know how to edit my posts,but wanted to add if you don't have plans for Varcloac it'd be fun to see him successfully summon Wes from the Castle dimension immediately after the fight and then get decapitated.

1) For the first level with EDF under attack, throw in tipped over lockers and a few more explosions here and there along with a UFO or something circling in the skies and launching rockets at the base &/or player.
Add in an extra segment near the end where the player gets into a power station room thats making an erratic humming noise but they have to turn the power off to get a keycard thats behind a force shield. With the power off, it locks the door behind them so they have to turn it back on to leave the room. The humming noise returns but more steady this time and this restarts the server and causes the AA defence to reboot and blows up the UFO, allowing Bombshell to leave by helicopter. This is also a callback to Duke's advice to turn it off and then back on again.
2) Duke is not present for the level Hard Rain. This is because the aliens are attacking an EDF facility that he must defend. It is a chemical factory that produces the Regenerax that allows soldiers and the player to be revived and can also allow health regeneration at a steep price. (personal fan theory is that this also causes the soldiers to become zombies after death, and these are inherently different from the magic zombies from Red 2 Zombie Edition level. This also means Duke and Bombshells bodies will have to be launched into the sun immediately upon death but thats not here or there)
So Duke shows up and a subplant immediately explodes and coats him with chemicals. This induces a fever dream that causes the rest of the level to be an astounding array of colors and visuals that more than likely do not accurately represent what is happening. It's probably not possible to do the shrooms effect from ROTT) but this would be perfect for this. Maybe he hallucinates that he is in the mushroom kingdom and is jumping around in low G and double launching fireballs to save the

For the next update, coming soon, I have coded an options menu. The options shown above are all included, plus one for resetting to defaults. The vast majority of your settings are saved and then loaded when you start a new game. Thanks as always to sebabdukeboss20 for the hud graphics.

Also in the next update, you can pick up, carry around, and drop or throw a large variety of objects. EDIT: I realize now that you can't tell from the screenshot, but Duke is holding up the Hello Kitty plushy.

- Trash cans and other medium sized objects can be picked up, moved around, and thrown.
- There is a new in-game menu for toggling and changing various AA game options on the fly.
