Cool to hear things are going well, new name and announcement! I know such things can't really be discussed, but I take it this positive tone means the appalling $2 million they were seeking for "damages" against Ion Maiden isn't something that is happening. Some kind of reasonable settlement or whatnot happening I'd hope.

Out of curiousity i Googled for Ion Maiden and something took my attention... actually famous manga and games called Evangelion: The iron Maiden
have been made years ago, weird that "they" did not complain about those ones.

Oh wait, i know why; that one is the short name (that it work well if you search it) the full name is Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Iron Maiden (1, 2 etc...).

So, based on this, there are no problems in naming the game to something like: Neo Bombshell: Ion Maiden.

Oh wait, logo is similar, skull is similar, last part of the title is similar and bla bla bla, yeah yeah, what else?...

Personally, I do not care about the name and I do not understand so long dev trolling with new funny names. I understand its importance, but come on! Our people from our community put so much effort into this game. And putting so much attention to this name change is not right in such way, I'd like to get support instead if I was a dev, but not memes with "Rammsteined" etc.

Let's just wait for its release, I can't wait for the announcement!

You can take my post as trolling, i'm ok if someone can see the comic part, but, to be honest it is just disappointment against these stupid tradermark things, because i've played the beta on a PC (at friend's home), i enjoyed the game and i'll buy and taste the full version.Is not even on purpose, sometime i type the game title to search updata, and then, it happens that similar names come out, so i feel to vent some anger by comparing those situations and trying to understand why this did not happened before to someone else... (no offense intended for other works out there ofc)

I just hope it won't affect the game's visibility much. IM has worked up some reputation over the Early Access period and changing the name might lose some hard-earned "brand recognition".
