The level design looks amazing. That working piano is sick. Something about the Build engine lends itself to some of the best level design in FPS history. Duke, Blood, Shadow Warrior, and now Ion Fury.

The newest commercial games I bought were Oblivion, Far Cry 2 and Fallout New Vegas from 2006 - 2010. I bought them at a garage sale a few years ago. I'm impressed enough with Ion Fury that I will buy the physical version in a few months. I want to wait for patches, if any, before I play. Believe me, its a big event when I open up my wallet for a game. I guess I've been replaying my old ones for too long.

"Say my name!" Lol nice one. The name is better than I expected. I like that Ion is kept. The only thing I see now is the similarity with the name Wrath. But it's ok.

Also, mirrors and third person view! I never use it but good to see it back. Game looks great! Bowling ball USB disk? Is this a ball-shaped USB drive or a discus-shaped? Sad that I missed out on the floppy USB but this box is definitely more affordable.

I love this game (this is the only early access game I ever bought) and going to be sincere, the name isn't as good as the original, honestly it's so-so which I personally expected. Fuck Iron Maiden for that, by the way.

Anyway, the rest seems to be really promising, the piano also has a potential to become a meme. However, my biggest concern is the date, I really hope you guys aren't pushing it, the last thing the game needs is to be rushed.

I just joined up with GOG and ordered the game right away because it mentions a price increase on the 18th of this month. After making payment my account shows I can download 2 versions. Ion Fury and the demo Ion Maiden. If I click on the Ion Fury button will it tell me the download is available after the official release date? Or will some other version download start? Sorry for the noob question.

I like the fire bullets, it makes you see your projectiles so you can lead your shots properly. Game design, son.

But what about the other game file? When I click on it I see Ion Fury update 4.1 and 51MB in size. If I download that without using their Galaxy client will I be able to download the full version when it releases? Or did I just buy pre-release version 4.1 only? I didn't download it yet. I know I look stupid but this online game purchasing is new to me.
