Honestly I'm surprised we didn't know sooner but hell I know I didn't give a shit until he said it in his video. Then I just wanted to connect the pieces.

Just watched another of his vids and he said that when he saw the 2000 trailer (means 2001) in 2000 he thought it sucked.

Yeah I hope it calms down to nothing. I don't want to hear any official statement honestly. I think everyone's exhausted all possibilities of what possibly occurred. I say let them go about their lives now.

It's just going to be sad to see Duke on the portables, when we know his real next game is never coming out I think.

I like the idea of a modern duke and future duke on the portables but a world war 2 duke....little gimmicky if you ask me. I don't suspect after this apogee announcement we will get anymore news till at least after E3. If we don't get any word on its fate by then I'm pretty sure we are going to be stuck in limbo again for awhile.

If the game is really dead then I really think they sort of owe it to all the fans to just make a statement and say so. They made us wait for 13 years, they ought to at least let us now we should not wait anymore.

About Enigmahood. That's just fantastic. I'm actually loving this. There was something about him, he was too mad at 3dr. So he was really into this DNF shit earlier. He was a fan. So, that's pretty logical.
If he wasn't utterly mad at Joe for something then it, perhaps, would have been another story. But now he is banned. I don't think that was necessary, but that was admins' decision.
I know this Star Wars dark side thing is pretty stupid to talk about, but as an analogy it somehow works(plus I like nerdy analogies...). Many of us were(are) on the dark side. Especially after closure. The same thing is with the Enigmahood. Btw, he started this "DNF is gonna suck" this year. Pretty obvious why.

Where is the press release? They did update their dukeisback site, but I don't see a press release from them on that page or their official one.

If it was dead we would know already, and they would not have given a damn about the leaked media. Just be patient, and I think we will hear some good news in the future.

Why did George keep quiet all this time while all portfolios got closed?
I mean look this dev even said on his portfolio page why he has taken his DNF work down!

Either way we are still pretty much in the dark about the fate of DNF and without an official statement from George we wont know. Plus thats if George decides to even give a statement as he has the right whether fans like it or not to shove duke up where the sun doesn't shine and leave it there and if he ever decides to do something with it again its gonna come out soiled just like his reputation.

There was another developer where his resume read that he helped put DNF on retail shelves, so all very contradicting info at this point.

His reputation can be repaired if he releases the game one way or the other.
If he releases the game finished then he will regain lots of reputation back but he will have people hate him for pulling a marketing stunt like this.
If he will release stuff half finished for free he will regain a bit of his reputation back.
If he will announce that duke is dead and he will not release anything people will hate him + he will loose even more reputation.
And if he doesn't release anything not even a statement then he will loose so much reputation and make so many people angry that even attempts at ending his life might be tried.

Where is this press release you speak of? The dukeisback website was updated but this definitely is not a press release.

Hahaha @ people trying to end GB's life. I could see a really pissed off fan doing this too. Fan stands over his body and points a gun to GB's head and says "Fire in the hole asshole" Not that I would want that to happen....but yea, you piss all over your fans over a really important matter in their life/lives and you get a ton of flak for it and might possibly get burned.
