I'd forgotten how good Perfect Dark was.
Best console FPS out there, can't believe people prefer the generic Halo.

I remember Golden Eye to being one of the best Console FPS's too...

Perfect Dark is basically the sequel to Goldenye, since it shares both the engine AND the gameplay
I keep messing around with the bots and ranom guns. Hehe....laptop gun.

Yeah I've basically been re-addicted to it via an emulator.
Its not exactly the same using my logitech gamepad, but hey its damn close - just takes some getting adjusted.
I'm looking forward to Haze, being developed by ex-rare employees. Timesplitters was fun, but ultimately it felt aimless story/gameplay wise. Haze on the other hand looks to be a little more serious.

Call of Juarez

After three weeks I finally found some time again to play
First I played Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, and I'm still stuck
I refuse to look at a walkthrough of course. So now I'm playing Call of Juarez. I really love the game! I'm in the fourth episode now. It's incredible. Aside from the game's performance I haven't come across a negative point of the game yet. There is only one frustrating thing though, but it is unrelated to the game I think. During loading screens my computer dares to reboot sometimes. So often I have to play two levels, and the third level my computer reboots. Then I have to replay from an autosave in the latest level I played, and continue for 2 levels until it reboots again
I think it's unrelated to the game because I'm getting reboots in pretty much all games lately. Maybe there is something wrong with my power supply? I can't check it of course, because I don't have another power supply. And the fact I can't look into what causes the reboots is very annoying. Any advice welcome.

I hope you're not overheating, cause that's kinda what it sounds like. Have you tried playing with the case open and a fan blowing in the case?

i have yet to find all the remaning "secrets"...
I like those Wanted posters... it's a funny, yet fitting way of introducing the game makers...

I also thought of that, but I figured my Intel Active Monitor would show high temperatures then. It's programmed to alert me when temperatures get too high (and it works

i found 22 through the whole game first time i played...
Many of them are in chests, and drawers...
I like the way they make them sound like real criminals...
I hope there's some sort of reqward when all are found... i hate doing alot of effort, to gain nothing...

Sin 1.
It's awesome so far.
I love the music, and the level design.

So do I, they're great. I love how you actually have to log in during the training mission, choose the options, and activate the simulation. The game seems to be really interactive, overall.

Just downloaded and played the new Prey 1.2 patch levels. My favorite of the four new levels is definately Gravity Lab.

I just played through the subway level of sin, which I loved. And the vehicles on the level before that were great.

You'll get none of that from me, I love the Final Fantasy games. From 1-VIII are the best ones, IX is okay and X and above are just really not my thing. They've gone all MTV and have dancing girls dressed in next to nothing. The voice acting also grinds me the wrong way.....I hate that main character in FFX.
I hope you are playing the PSX version? The music in this series is the best in gaming and really doesn't suit the midi of the PC version.

I've heard that about the PC version. Yeah, it's the PS1 version, I didn't know there was a PC version out. I actually had to rebuy the game after the first disc on the original copy got screwed up. I haven't played this game since eighth grade. Me playing this is still rather unusual, though, since I prefer games where you run into a room shooting everything that moves with blood and gibs flying everywhere.
