First Encounter Assault and Reconnaissance: Extraction Point (on my laptop this time :) To test the graphics card which is VERY decent aparently. Starting to like the game better already... the few issues I was having was because of the sucky controls on a laptop of course, so I think I'll like he expansion B))

Yes but did it also shoot 3 rockets at the same time? And those rocket enemies too?

The rocket launcher shoots out a rocket one barrel after another, but fast...

If it feels any different than the regular FEAR game, then it must be because it's been tweaked, like many otehr things in this demo... the model is the same as the old rocket launcher... so i bet, it's just been tweaked...

I can't wait for this expansion... I never really got to see if my 2 friends from my team died or survived (i hope they survived... :))

SWAT 4 demo and Deus Ex demo... 2 games that don't work on my other PC! Luckily they work on my laptop so I might be able to play the full games when (and IF) I want to :)

I'm playing Second Sight again currently. Its a great stealth action game with psychic powers. Throwing people around and going invisible is really cool :)

Shame, this game is so underrated. It had little to no attention and some reviews are too harsh on it, in my opinion.

heh.. I've been play testing Shadow Warrior mobile way too much a few weeks ago (the game is finshed and done for more then 6 weeks now.. but I have to wait until the official retailers test team is done with it :/)

anywayz, here at the office some friends of mine started a project while
I was developing Shadow Warrior. And recently I jumped on that bandwagon,
but damn that game is fun to play!

it's for xbox360, and multiplayer rocks! I can't tell what kind of game it is,
but I've been playing it for hours now (while I really should be coding).

Finished Second Sight. If anyone is looking for a unique stealth game that stays away from the formula, try this game. The psychic powers and story make for a great game that I would almost call one of my favs. :)

Half-Life 2 on my laptop

Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

And here was I hoping the abysmal Source engine wouldn't stutter on my laptop :) It's even worse than on my PC! Now I won't be able to play Dark Messiah of Might and Magic at all!

I tried the demo for Dark Messiah, but when it loaded, it just went to a black screen. :)

I also went to EB Games to get Half-Life 2: Episode 1, but they didn't have it. B) I guess I'll order it from EB's online store.

Call of Juarez

Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

This will be an enjoyable game full of long loading times B) I'm near the beginning of the game, I think I'll put this "on hold" until I finish Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth :)
So I'm playing Call of Juarez and Call of Cthulhu at the same time... if I just install Call of Duty now, we're complete for the party B)

I'm currently playing Call of Duty 2 (hmm, Call of Duty, Call of Juarez, Call of Cthulhu... how many calls are still ahead :)), still testing modified DOOM3 and about to play the newest version of Demon Eclipse, an excellent modification to original DOOM. In CoD2 I've finished both Russian and British campaigns and I'm getting through American one. Cool game, replayability is not the strongest feature but it's very satisfying to play.
I finally see what have I done with D3. Some parts are amazing: pistol and shotgun are perfect now, Pinky is almost on the same level, if I could only have it's original 'death' from Alpha, instead of ragdoll (those who watched Alpha vid probably know what I'm talking about), original Trent Reznors sounds for Commandos are much better than those in vanilla D3 (at the beginning of Delta 1 just after a body breaks the window there's a Commando nearby and it was really cool to actually hear him talking 'I smell human!' instead of those original groans; it's much better to have those guys speak), pickups provide quite well-ballanced benefit. Running out of ammo is actually happening (hurray!) and at some points I really wanted to make every bullet count. I'm at Delta Labs 2A and so far everything's been fine but I still fear if Hell will be possible to survive...

You'll have to skip some enemies (like I did on my first walkthrough B)). Is supposed to be fun, and like REAL hell. B)

The Oracle - for a free game I'm very impressed so far. Of course, I keep finding bugs and faults with the game but nothing to really shake a stick at. I might let the author know so he can patch em up.

More build mapping-

http://gallery.filef...tree85//293775/

This is the same exact level that I posted shots of almost a year ago at 3D Realms, and now I'm getting close to being finished. :) I've added in shadows, and just need to fix/add some things and adjust my texturing.

System Shock - Either I'm blind, or the only health this game gives you is on one floor and one floor only. They tempted me with a broken health machine (arg) but thats about it.

Aye, what makes you think i didn't..? B)
I was using direct links with image tags on 3DR, when i originally posted them... i would have wanted thumbnails here... Visual encourage people of seeing the full pic and links sometimes isn't enough for people to boterh clicking on them...

But since there was too much for me to bother changing them all to thumbs, i let them be...

However, now Roger changed them into links (thanks for that btw), and i guess it's better this way...

I finished System Shock. Man.....my favourite FPS list is getting mangeled :) That game was so great in so many ways. It took me 15 hours (according to the stats screen at the end) and yet it was a helluva ride.

On to SS2 now B)

and damn right the game will offer you some "interesting challenges", just wait for level 11, called "Run for life".

Muhahahha *evil laugh* B)

I just completed Run for life and I'm now on level 12, "Ignore Them." :) It took me like 1,000 tries to beat level 8, and then 9 was interesting, with the electricity shocking you if you go onto the wrong space when it activates. 10 was also interesting, and I liked being chased by the scissors on 11. B) I wonder what level the floppy-disc bombs will first appear in? They look pretty cool in the demos. B)
