It's a well made machine that gets the job done. It needs a faster CPU though, but I keep putting it off. My first and last gaming laptop. You end up never gaming on it, and it's outdated in a year.

I have an Acer Aspire 5733. I've had a better experience with a Dell Inspiron (don't remember what number) and a Dell XPS (again don't remember the number).

Pentium 266 mhz CPU, 64 MB ram, WIN98SE. The only reason I still have it is because of some old software to interface with electronics test equipment and Two-way radios I have. The various pieces of software run in DOS and WIN and some need the old fashioned version of the serial port and one program crashes on any CPU faster than what this computer has. I have the docking station, external keyboard, PCMCIA ?? network card , CDROM/ floppy drive and USB port. It runs the original Duke3d game fine too. Thats important. If you think this one is ancient, the one I had before this one was a 386 CPU laptop. The drive died so I replaced that laptop with the current one.

Fun fact: The P266 was laptop only. They never made a desktop version.
Old hardware is fun. Even if it ends up sitting and collecting dust, it's just nostalgic and cool.

It's a Dell with a nicer sticker on it.
Their video cards never have brand names on them.
Their cases have terrible airflow.
The parts are borderline generic.
Their name hasn't meant shit in ten years.
Back in the late 2000's my friend's laptop went through about 3 motherboards.
