Jesus Hitler
Adolf Christ
Is this the second coming
Or the fourth Reich?
His mother a nun raped by Nazi
Near the end of the second great war
Gave birth to the son who will change the future
For better or worse he's not sure
I am what should never have been
The ultimate abomination
Have I returned to save the Jews
Or to destroy them?
Hear thee my fellow Nazolics
Keep der race pure practice eugenics
And swear to the holy swazafix
I have returned
Reich and roll!
Hess to my left and Hitler on right
Will it be war or peace
Tantalization on his throne of blood
Commands both man and beast
A pair of souls trapped in the body of one
Both prisoners of reincarnation
Torn between good and evil
I have returned for salvage elimination

Seducer - Predestination

Starts out as a mid-'80s Metallica song (especially the main riff) and then the vocals come in...

Seducer - Rock Heart

Different Seducer, the one with the ex-colleague.

Used to love this one, but haven't listened to it literally in years. Currently at "Sea of Blood", probably my favourite track on the album.

I may have posted this guy before, but he's awesome. Saw him live last year and it's literally just him with his machines. Vaguely reminiscent of Mick Gordon.

Beastland must be a fucking blast to listen to live. Too bad I skipped the Author & Punisher show in favor of Cold Cave.

He almost found the brown note that night.

I'm immune to this brown note shit, I'd been at Merzbow show.

As far as I'm concerned Hulshult's Blood Swamps track is the new definitive Doom track. Beating BFG Division. It's got everything and dumps all over anything in base Eternal. No shade on Mick for his tracks which are almost always great, but Hulshult really drew me in on this one and nailed all of my metal buttons like he knew me. Incredible track. I love playing Blood Swamps and being pummled to death repeatedly just to listen to it.

R.E.M. - Live at Pinkpop 1989

First festival and (paid) concert I attended.
Wasn't used to the volume of big stage live music and from my position Stipe's vocals were somewhat drowned out by Buck's guitar, but it was still mightily impressive.

Listening to the 1930s radio show of The Shadow. Thankfully it is apparently in the open domain so you can download it and listen if you want to from here.

It's a fun show IMO.

About 12 years ago I got into the hobby of collecting and restoring old radios from the 20s and 30s. Hanging around one of the related forums exposed me to music of that era. My listening expanded to the 40s and 50s music and the weekly radio shows. Lots of great drama and comedy stuff back then. Jack Benny, Red Skelton and Bob Hope were my favorites.

Back in the 60s me, my older brother and dad would listen to The Shadow every week with the lights turned low. Good times.

Radio's kind of a lost medium for many people who were too young to grow up with it. Glad some of this stuff is finding its way to the 'net.

Gigabytes of old radio programming is available on the web from many places. IIRC Archive.org has lots of it. I was so into the music and shows that I bought a commercially sold pack of Bob Hope shows on 20 cassette tapes and transfered them to my computer.
