I think that now, Gearbox has the rights to create any new Duke Nukem games.

On Mr. Splashy's in Duke Caribbean you can clearly see the darkened walls in the Megaton Edition which looks ugly as hell. These walls has a shade of 30 and thus are completely black in the original 8-bit mode (which is how it's supposed to look).

Completely unacceptable. The Megaton Edition lost all credibility with that one.

Not exactly. A shade of 32 is 100% black, but because of the additive color table from 8-bit mode most textures will look pitch black with a lower value. But it's a fair interpretation to take a shade of 30 as something very dark, though the image in question is not dark enough.

In my screen, it just still pitch black and I cannot see what's wrong on the screenshot and even in game, I guess the screen setting is too bright/too high of gamma and make them visible...

Looks like the textures just fucked up... verify you game files via Steam interface is works or not?

I found it's funny when many games hates players use cheats and tend liking blocked capability of get achievements if cheats used.

I like when games point out that you are cheating.
One of my favorites was whenever I would play Descent 1 or 2 and enter some cheats as a kid, and then the reactor self destruct voice would say "Cheater!"

I was def hoping it was Star Trek but oh well. Still funny. I love these achievements. Some are just awesome. I hope they fill up the game with difficult and creative achievements.
