Peoplessi-My gut feeling(and they usually never fail me; seriously) is that we'll have a trailer by the end of this year.

As for DNF and console ports, my new Game Informer came today and they showcased the 2 new screenshots that were in Duke3d. The game was listed for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. No release date of course. It was still nice opening up a gaming mag and seeing actual DNF media in it(even though we've already seen the pics.)

I personally think they almost *have* to release it for the big 3: pc, 360, ps3(the Wii just doesn't have the horsepower) to help recoup the money put into the game over the years. It makes sound business sense. I could only see it being exclusive to the 360 if MS cuts 3dr a deal to make it that way.

I also don't think it will be "dumbed" down for the console ports. The controls for the game have always been simple and straightforward from what I've known. It's the graphics load 3dr is pushing along with the interactive details involved.

So again, gut feeling: something "substantial" is coming our way. Stay Tuned™

I would dare say that we won't see a trailer this year. It seems that getting the trailer is the most possible scenario, but I wouldn't be surprised if 3DR didn't show anything, again.

Most likely we will see a Trailer this year, they freaking better show a Trailer. Otherwise why would they feed us little bits of media for, ever since the Teaser Trailer last year? I'm sure 3D Realms couldn't possibly screw us fans over any more. I expect a trailer before the end of the year and I think this is a fair assumption.

3D Realms will be able to deliver a spectacular trailer and due to the increase in DNF awareness this year now is the perfect time to unleash the beast.

If 3DR screws us over again and don't pull out a trailer before the end of year there will be plenty of pissed off fans letting them know with myself included.

Actually yes, it should be a TRAILER this time, It should be out before Christmas... Around or before the 18-19th, just like last time. They even said themselves a Trailer is coming, this Winter should be the best time to release it.

Wonder what the old tease is cooking up this time... an engine rewrite? By the time this is released Larrabee (is that spelt right?) will be the defacto standard in graphics and Linux will be the OS of choice...

Ive noticed since George has been released tidbits that when ever something gets released before another bit of media/whatever is released everyone gets pissy that he keeps not releasing stuff.
If his going to get on the hypetrain, STAY ON IT!

I hope we get a trailer or some screens during the christmas period.

You got that right dude, plus it would be the best thing for them to do in terms of Marketing and keeping the fire fueled for DNF afterall. They will and have to release something substantial as a Trailer next month like they did last year during their Christmas party.

Well that's simple really I take care of myself body and spirit. Also I'm always optimistic no matter what the situation or problem and am a outstanding nice positive guy usually...

P.S. I dreamed that we saw the Trailer this year, it was the most coolest glorious thing I've ever seen. Duke was so awesome and liberating in the trailer words couldn't describe how great it was.
