I seriously also love this thought... I always wanted battles, especialy boss battles where you could de-armor him piece by piece... Revealing the more vulnable spots, but also making the guy more aggressive and deffensive as he relizes how vulnable he is... Sorta like those bosses in games, who get these "rage-moments" when they're in low health... Except here it's not depending on health, but probably both that, and the level of armor it's wearing...
I'm just dreaming here, but damn that would be awesome...

cycloid emperor, i figure shooting at it's mechanical legs with pistol or shotgun isn't going to do much, but shooting at it's eye is going to do some damage (obviously), but maybe you can lodge a pipe bomb into the machinery of it's feet (or next too it's feet at least) and take out it's legs and stuff.
i'm so curious it hurts my brain wondering.

I think the legs of the Cycloid Emperor are too vital for them to be destructible, so i'm not sure if those can be counted as 'Armor'... It's more like a prosphetic body part... The actual armor that could be shot off, i think, must be the external stuff they wear... So, i think that breastplates and shoulderpads can be destroyed... MAYBE his "hands" too though, since it would be cool to imobilize his main weapon, and then he'd perhaps go for a more melee kind of attack move once he gradually runs out of projectile weaponry...
Should we really discuss this here though ..? I think i may have to make a new thread and move certain posts over there since we're not really ranting...

My feelings exactly. Obviously, I don't mind waiting. But dammit, you can't put the genie back in the bottle - don't start showing the game if you don't mean it!

Wouldn't be unheard of. Aside from thinking of that as being pretty obvious, they got someone on their team who worked on an older generation FPS game that had armor suits of which the individual parts could be shot off.
So if they didn't have someone suggest the obvious before, I'd imagine it was brought up at some point.
I'm just mostly wondering to what extent this could be done. Like would it only happen on some enemies or any of them. Or would it involve an entire suit of armor being blown completely off the enemy, or just some main pieces of it.
I guess I'd figure the amount of force\damage necessary to remove a huge metal place from a torso would kill the wearer before that amount had been reached.

Still babbling about DNF I see, well me and Dave are very confident this game will ROCK HARD, just watch and see!! It's coming we tell you, George is planning for a substantial media showing of DNF with daily development updates as well. Just wait a little longer you will see what I mean, don't worry all you for is there and coming, they know we need more media already the time is coming finally dudes... Trust me on that, don't worry rest assured DNF is going to be like nothing you've ever seen guaranteed.

I think you're simply trolling now and it's getting irritating.
If by chance you *DO* have some type of insider knowledge or people are sharing off the record information with you, it's usually not cool to mention it for public consumption unless told specifically otherwise.

I liked when you were an over-enthusiast, it made me smile reading your posts, even if they were more or less the same content.

One of the hard things is recalling for obvious reasons why I shouldn't speak freely. I can't remember having so many times where I'd start typing only to have to backspace the entire thing and start over.
Overall though this entire thing now seems like a complete distraction.
If you really have insider information and are free to discuss it then go post about it on the official DNF forums since you are such a loyal fan and have been deemed worthy to see and speak about such matters. Joe isn't allowed to say anything so you'd probably be helping him out there with fan info.

Understood but George would never validate it of course, because it was done only for us 2 as a favor in a secret way you will have slapped yourself for not thinking how we pulled off a deal with them...
I'm surprised why he didn't pick you afterall, well he still told me all you guys are supportive in your own ways especially a veteran as yourself. Despite not being as crazed for DNF as 2, he still respects your patience and will pay it off soon for us all.
