Tenebris - mod for eduke32  "Here death is a blessing and live a curse"

It can't hurt to ask. Maybe progress was shown in a newer but forgotten thread or maybe on a different website that somebody knows about. There is nothing wrong with being curious.

I was able to archive 3 great unfinished TCs by resurrecting old posts. They likely would have been lost to time. Including the one I'm still working on occasionally. SuburbsTC.

Well, if it's done like this it looks to me like: Wow, new content after all this time. And then it's just a question about progress (aka bump). You can do this via PM to the OP or you make a new thread with a link to the old thread. Sorry if this seems like backseat moderation, but I see stuff like this in so many other forums, too.

Marco's profile shows he hasn't been here since March of 2018. I sent him a PM anyway just in case he has email notification still set.

I think necro'ing the thread is fine. Are the forums really that busy that it's such a problem? Posting in the thread can always renew interest, or maybe someone knows how to get into contact with OP, etc. It's perfectly reasonable to bump it occasionally.

Yeah, I never understood most forums' rules about necroposting. Sometimes it can be helpful to revisit an old thread.

Most forums are over-moderated.

It worked out for the better. Marcos is looking for a place to host the project so I can download and preserve it for future finishing. According to Marcos the project folder is a mess. I'll probably ask for a helper to complete it or at least get the thing cleaned up and organized. I hate to see cool WIP projects get lost forever.
