I wonder if our old 3D Realms friend is responsible for such harsh crackdown.
Anyway, each ban at that forum is a new member here. That's an observation, not a theory.
The ban's are per Gearbox's rules set in place by pre-existing Community Manager's and Chris. GBX has a zero tolerance for piracy/illegal downloads discussion. The rest of us on the team just enforce the rules GBX sets up.

The game won't do any flopping. It's leaking, so there is interest. Who said 13 Fridays are bad? Well maybe for T2 or Gearbox, cleaning up, or trying to lol

The game isn't leaking. The demo was taking off Xbox Live through an exploit in the system.

I'm against piracy and I never bothered downloading a pirate game..
But I wonder why is it supposed to be bad to download free something that is supposed to be distributed free ?
I mean,I don't think they would charge people to play the demo, right ?
This "version" of the demo was acquired illegally. People hacked Xbox Live through an exploit and removed private data. The demo will be released to all for free, but obtaining anything (even a demo) before it's intended release date through the means of hacking and removing (stealing) the data is considered wrong/illegal and is strongly looked down on by GBX and 2K.

I'm worried about the quality of the leak. The second level is completely broken. Also the load screens haven't been properly titled. It also wigs out and crashes for almost no reason with a reload needed to continue.
Judging by that it could be a while before the demo is released.
You can't judge the quality of the videos you are seeing. This demo was ripped from Xbox Live's servers and is not the complete demo. It has been hacked together and is in flawed condition. Do not use this as a judge of the quality of the demo and or final game.
