And before anybody jumps at me for making such wild speculations, I have personally dealt on my forum with at least 50 such human advertising "bots" hired to spam and advertise certain things on forums so they can bypass the anti spam security measures like captcha.
Also, how about being more interested in your posts when you make them because that image link that you posted above is all kinds of fucked up.

I don't understand this site. Is it some kind of viral marketing? Because if it is, it's going far too long. Most of the time with that kind of marketing I saw somekind of hint and a burst(announcement/trailer) within a week. What's the point of all these lowres screenshots? Either it's a shitty marketing or someone is fooling everyone.

Considering that Bethesda said it's not their stuff, I fear that it may be just a bunch of angry prey 2 fans that are doing this publicity stunt hoping that it will cause a huge media buzz and make bethesda aware that people still care for this game.
Some clever people might of thought that a fake site like this might create more media buzz than some lame petitions asking bethesda to complete this game and release it.
That's the worst case scenario for why this site might exist in this form.
The fact that Bethesda denied it's their stuff and now the actual site has the Bethesda logo on it, almost makes it entirely certain to be fake...
If this is not fake and bethesda is actually doing this while outright lying the press straight in the face, then bethesda is going to have trouble having their words trusted in the future.
Usually when a publisher wants to make a surprise, they don't just outright deny their involvement with the site that's about to show off the surprise.
Usually when a publisher wants to make such surprises, when they are asked if they are associated with such sites, they refuse to answer, or they give out dodgy answers.
The fact that this site is giving out microscopic screenshots that look like somebody extracted frames from the gameplay trailers shown years ago, shrunk them and now claims they are unique screenshots released fresh from the oven, is also a huge reason for me to doubt the authenticity of this site.
Hope I'm wrong but I expect this site to be a huge let down for those that believed it to be legit.
Another theory that I already stated on this topic, is that prey 2 might be worked on by some devs just like dnf was worked after 3drealms went bankrupt.
And a new idea that just popped into my mind right now is that maybe bethesda secretly outsourced the game to some unknown studio so they can put the finishing touches on it.

Hmm... actually, I don't remember the website saying anything other than expect something every day to subscribers and the promise of something when the countdown was done. Did they ever make a claim that these were unique or official screenshots?
I've already accepted it's a fansite, so maybe that's why I'm not terribly upset anymore.

All we know is that's it's Prey 2 related. If it's a fan site, that's still cool.

At least 3, possibly 4 of the big buildings in the foreground look like they have just been added on top. Their colour and shading don't quite match the rest of the picture, and they have no bloom around the edges...

honestly, i think bloom isnt needed, it looks fine as is.

The bloom in question looks like a uniform soft inner glow effect in photoshop. It looks too, well unlike current shader tech. The environment looks really poor and at times inconsistent Prey 2 isn't exactly next-gen visuals so its hard to find such inconsistencies as in-game visuals. I can understand why Mr. Deviance thought you were a bot. Overly excited despite everyone's stand offish attitude, as if our thoughts don't affect you in any way. Just saying I don't disagree with Deviance.

This guy is very fishy and apparently, each one of his pictures are nowhere to be found via google image search nor with tineye.com
There are 2 possibilities that come out of this.
1.Saiyuki234 is truly in possession of unique media from this game, so unique that literally no other forum or game media site has posted these pictures because as it can be seen, google image search and tineye.com can't find other sites that have these screenshots posted on them.
2.Saiyuki234 is extracting frames from trailers and shopping them to fuck around with people stupid enough to believe everything they see online without questioning it's origins first.
Considering that Saiyuki234 makes very fishy posts that look like he is advertising these screenshots as if he wants people to give him credit for them and when somebody dares to criticize them he becomes defensive and/or violent, I tend to believe that Saiyuki234 is bullshitting us.
There are more hints towards the fact that Saiyuki234 is posting fake media than there are towards the fact that this shit is authentic.
Until I see other more credible sources confirming this media to be real, I am even willing to go as far as to believe that Saiyuki234 might be part of this aliennoire.com fake site.

There is no doubt that aliennore.com has posten screenshots of what appears to be Prey 2. I have received them my self. Could it be that Saiyuki234 set up the site? I suppose it is possible.

Firstly I was not addressing you in my above posts, I was addressing 2 other users but you felt the need to join this debate uninvited so let fill you in on the subject because you are obviously very far off from the subject of this debate...
While I was stating my personal opinions about one of the members here, I was also agreeing and quoting another one that was agreeing and quoting me.
The reason why I decided to make this post is because I notice that not only you attacked me now and a few times before but you also act bitchy to that other guy I was talking to.
Very few people around this community(or any other community for that matter) can be taken seriously and treated as credible sources when they post news that lack more credible sources like game media sites or something similar and that's how it should be because nobody should be immediately trusted online.
The fact that I did not blindly believe what Saiyuki234 was saying and posting just goes to show that I prefer to have multiple sources or at least one credible one, before I start believing some news.
