New hard drive is in. There was this small silver sticker on the side of the drive and this note saying don't cover any holes, so I wonder if I should remove that?

Yeah you might as well take it off.

Today I heard Xena say "come and get some" and that's the closest thing to a Duke Nukem quote I've heard her say so far.

So my shop just called and they said that my SSD has around 30% writes left and it can't access Windows. They said it might be failing. Fuck, I spent $400 on that thing. Guess I might have to resize my Western Digital Black drive and put Windows on there.

And it seems my new 2 TB hard drive is also dead. Making these loud clicking noises and I was backing up something and normally it takes 50 minutes to do a backup, however, this has been going on for 2 hours and it's not finished yet. Looks like this one is going back as well.

The latest episode of South Park was one of the best in a long time, it was about iPads and apple and they managed to change it into to something about the Human Centipede. It's a must see if you ever remotely enjoyed a South Park episode.

I never really got into South Park, but I know the show has been on for a while.

Well...I really shouldn't...but I think I'll watch that tonight.

Addendum:
That episode was epic...I never read license agreements...and now I kind of want to.

Did you guys know that Sanctuary is a completely computer generated show? All their sets and such are not set up like most movies and such, it's all CGI. Also, they said it's 4K source resolution (4096x2048p).

Wow...I remember watching some episodes. I could have sworn they were not CGI. That is really well done. Sky Captain and the Word of Tomorrow was also entirely CGI sets but that was slightly more obvious.

All Star Wars prequels had lots of CGI. And I'm not talking space battles or various creatures. Most of the interiors and sets were CGI.

If you have the Blu-ray seasons, you should watch the extras. That's where I found it out.

New plane for FSX is ready for beta testing

Some of the beta testers require 3000 hours of real world flying experience since this 737 is modeled after the real thing. Kind of like my 747 addon that I have. Not something made by Microsoft.

I just read that post and they have a very thorough beta testing procedure.

On one of their projects, part of their beta team included 5 captains and 4 first officers (pilot and co-pilot to the layman). I don't have any real world experience aside from when my mom's friend took me up in his plane and I got to do a few turns. My brother went out with another pilot and he actually let him land the plane.

Sanctuary was very good tonight. Oh and Amanda Tapping's accent cracked tonight. She was sleeping on the couch when Will came in. One minute she's talking like she's Canadian, and the next she changes to her character's British accent.

In the extras one of the crew members joked about how she needed to act better British accents. She got him back by saying, yeah well I'm signing your paycheck.

It's nice to see Amanda Tapping be successful in a role other than Samantha Carter in Stargate SG1 and Atlantis. It felt like she was bored when she was acting that character in later seasons, and I know I would have felt bored if Colonel O'Neil left my side.

Well on SG-1 they were sort of interested in each other, so not having O'Neill there I guess would have a big change for her character.

Oh and I watched Fringe yesterday. Oh my god it was awesome.

Guys/gals, using spoiler tags is good, but at least say about what movie/series the spoiler is about. It's not convenient to scroll up to see what were you discussing.

^ Neat. Can't wait.

In other news, renouncing your citizenship because you don't like Bush or how the US invades Canada and tries to change our copyright laws to get up to speed with the rest of the world is not a valid reason to renounce my US citizenship. I think I'm just going to stick with my family is in Canada, and I have no further ties to the US.

So I watched the Fringe trailer and I made this funny remark that goes like this:

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite Fringe video on Youtube.

Go out help someone. I learned that trick from the aboriginals here in Canada. Or find your special hang out, another trick from them. Bottom line - get out of the house. Posted Image Real comfort means hugs and real human interaction, no way over the www. Posted Image

I'll send my cat over for a day to have him purr on your lap. Just remember to bring him back.

Oh, while I was on my way home from work, I stopped to get a Pepsi and this idiot big shot cuts in line. Is that against the law or just rude? Guy has fancy dress clothes on, so he must think he's so important that he's allowed to do it.
