Had a good laugh last night when I saw this Fringe episode. Walter was drilling holes in this guy's head and he was thought the guy was seeing some psychic connection and it wasn't working as he hoped. The guy is sitting there in the chair with holes drilled in his head, and he said "Can I get a drink or something". Peter chuckles a bit and says sure.

It was called The Ghost Network.

Fringe has some great moments. I'm not sure what I'm going to watch until next season...my shows are all ending soon and there really aren't many shows of interest for this next season. I am curious about Terra Nova though. I might watch a few episodes to decide if it is any good or not. I am concerned it might end up begin like SG:U in some respects where I hate a few characters because they suck but there are one or two that I like.

I have a TV, but I don't have cable. Too much reality TV and other stuff on there to make it not worth getting.

I watch a handful of shows and after this season ends, none of them will be on for a while. This will leave me with free time. That is unfortunate since I am off school right now. I had planned on writing some stuff though so maybe I'll be able to focus on that. I could also play more video games too.

I have a TV for my Xbox 360, but the aerial cable isn't plugged in. If I didn't live in a rented property, I'd actually snip it, but I can't. I still don't pay a TV license though, and the TV licensing company were happy to accept that I don't watch TV, surprisingly.

When the digital switchover occurs, I wouldn't be able to watch TV even if I wanted to, because I don't have the appropriate equipment.

I recently watched all three seasons of a British comedy about teenagers called The Inbetweeners, and I thought it was hilarious. The Brits really know what they're doing when it comes to certain comedies... yet the Americans somehow have it figured that they do their own version of other countries' shows better, and attempt to remake them, often to appalling results.

This morning I get in the shower and...no water pressure...for the hot water. Cold water is fine...I'll pass.

Got these new energy efficient light bulbs for my place. Instead of lasting 1000 hours, they now last 10,000 hours.

I find that hard to believe about the light bulbs. If all their light bulbs lasted that long, the bulb factory would go out of business. They rely on people's lights blowing so that they go out and buy new ones. It's planned obsolescence and it's everywhere in technology. Ever notice how that oven or washing machine breaks just after the warranty expired? It's not faulty engineering, it's brilliant engineering.

I've had my Panasonic plasma for almost a year now and it still works great. Now if I had stuck with my Samsung TV which had terrible issues with clouding and other stuff, it probably would have died really soon. Panasonic makes good TV's, while Samsung doesn't even use their own panels. They have to make them in other countries. Samsung based panels are the best they offer (model S), but if you get a panel from China (model C), you're guaranteed to have issues.

As someone said on Youtube, don't let Shamsung sham you.

I still have use a CRT tv and it works great, except for the squarish aspect ratio, but I've seen widescreen CRT tvs around.

Lol this is so funny I just have to bump this thread so sorry for that in advance. I just found out that someone took away a rep point for this post I made a while back in this thread. This post to be exact: http://forums.duke4....dpost__p__81630
So that means someone is probably reading really old posts, and it's pretty lame that someone is not only reading old posts, but interfering with their reputation points. Old news is old. Obviously I don't care for the loss of one rep point when I was lucky to gain it there in the first place; I've got a few reserves as you can probably see. But it's still kind of funny.

I've seen videos of minecraft. It looks pretty boring at a first glance, but I'm guessing once you get into it it's completely different.

If it makes you feel any better, I played around with ROR for 3 minutes until I knew how to use it and went "that's cool, I'll play with it later."
