I'm less concerned about difficulty levels than other stuff. I usually play through with the "normal" or default and maybe switch it up..but rarely. I'm becoming noticeably apathetic in gaming. Yikes.
Also, how about some butt sex with a Krogan? I'm not sure that is in, but they did say you will have more relationship things. I'm not a fan in general of the relationship stuff usually. At some point I was but now it is kind of "meh." I played through ME2 as a chick without doing anything and I only banged Miranda with the male character I have because her accent is to die for.

On Friday some idiot tried to kill himself by lighting himself on fire and throwing himself in front of a train. Unfortunately he didn't time it right. Died before the train got him. That's why I was home around 9:30 on Friday.
I haven't heard any news of Miranda coming back..yet. Tali is coming back which was announced recently. We'll probably see her face. I can't wait.

Wow that's one of the worst ways to go I can think of.
Also, how could he not time it right? If I was going to do it that way, I'd wait until I could see the train, make sure it was going fast enough so that it couldn't stop in time, then light myself on fire and step onto the tracks, not light myself on fire then hope that the train comes before I burn to death.

Well considering that Ashley (or Kailen whoever you saved) made but a cameo in the ME2...but in the end of ME3 you either have Miranda supporting you or not in your decision to ----- the factory, she should still be in. You never know though, they might kill off the whole crew in the opening sequence just to level the game (ie make you a new character) like the ME2.
Speaking of which, since I always went out and made sure everyone was loyal (even to the expense of my whole crew in one game), I don't know what happens if Miranda isn't loyal in the end and you have to decide between the smoking man and destroying the factory. Did anyone not get her on their side? Correction, did anyone who played as a man not get her on their side?

I edited my save game file to give enough paragon/renegade points so when Jack/Miranda or Tali/Legion get into a fight, I can save them both. Cheater I know.

In one of my games no one dies. In the other I lose the crew and I think the scientist dies because I left him to hold the line (which you shouldn't do).

There was a guide to show you how to do the suicide mission flawlessly.
I think I had mine set up like this:
First fire squad: Miranda
Tech: Tali
Second fire squad: Garrus
Biotic escort: Samara/Morinth
Crew escort: Jacob
Oh, I haven't been back to 3D Realms because I don't really have much to say.

I sent Legion as my tech. I think I had Garrus lead the other team and I kept Miranda with me. I am pretty sure I also kept Tank with me.
I've been told that you either have to have the scientist/spec ops guy (I can't remember his name) lead the crew back or bring him with you or he dies. He can't "hold the line" but he can be stealthy and if he is with you, he won't die, obviously.
In other news, I found out that someone is actually running against the incumbent in the Democratic primaries for the 2012 US Presidential election. No one would ever tell you that Obama has someone to "beat" in the primaries, but there is a guy there. He seems crazy, though. Might get some votes if he does air that Super Bowl commercial he plans on doing, if there is a Super Bowl.

Actors and Actresses should stay out of politics. Sarah Palin is crazy, true, but at least she is honestly crazy. If I had to choose between a crazy liar and an honest crazy person, I'd take the honest one. Barack Obama ran against Hilary Clinton in the primaries as the less crazy person. I didn't want Hilary Clinton because she was vocal about her views on things like healthcare etc but, as it turned out, she and Obama are actually closer in politics just he was better at hiding it than she was during the campaign. He managed to trick the nation into thinking he was bipartisan and close to center. Once he got in the White House he ended up being incredibly partisan and leaned so far left he's almost fallen off the scale (in American politics, anyway).
I don't like liars and dishonest politicians, so I'd rather take the slightly insane honest politician...because then I'd know shit is going to be bad.

So I checked my caller ID when I got home and this one number is so secretive, they don't want you to know where they are from. It's 000-000-0000. Even though Calgary's area code is 403 and 587 in some places.
My first motion interpolated Blu-ray movie should be done processing in about 3 hours. This thing took about 24 hours just for a 2 1/2 hour movie. I can't imagine how long it would take to do LOTR trilogy.

One of my YouTube friends/subscribers, TheRogueMonk, wanted me to post this on the forums here. It's a custom Duke Nukem desktop dock that he made if anyone is interested.

If you guys want a good laugh, type in "I don't do math anymore fringe" on Youtube.

That was hilarious! I'm doing a Specialist Maths course right now and I guarantee our class will be like that by the end of the year.

Did you know that the mental patient was actually played by The Keymaker from The Matrix Reloaded?

I've got a thunderstorm warning five minutes after our barbecue was trenched. Weather forecasters should issue news reports on what the weather was and not was the weather will be. Anyone for potato soup? Steaks and Bratwurst got saved.

My god the gearbox forums suck, i usually feel like i'm talking to a bunch of village idiots or a Nazi dictator that will ban me if i say something bad about the sauerkraut. I think i'm just going to post here for now on, its nice to have an intelligent conversation with people who don't act like dicks when you disagree with them.

They must be acting like the Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory
In other news I have discovered my plasma TV can do a mild "motion interpolation" similarly found on LCD/LED's which increases the framerate from 24 FPS to 120/240/480 FPS. Although, since mine is very mild, it only does it to 30 FPS, which gets rid of most of the stuttering, while keeping some of the "film look" or cinematic look, versus having the movie look as it was shot on a camcorder (120/240/480 FPS). I've also tested it on some scenes where the LCD's motion interpolation would cause artifacts and...no artifacts to be seen.
I tried a script which did 60 FPS, but it had too many artifacts.

I think you're confusing something. 120 fps won't ruin "cinematic look". It just makes 24p source videos to be played better using 5:5 pulldown. Either way TVs won't play 24Hz. All the movies on DVD are PAL/NTSC for 50/60Hz TVs. So, your TV increases to 30fps automatically because it can't play less than 60z. And pulldown from 24 to 30 isn't even which would introduce some motion artifacts. That's why 120Hz TVs are great since they can pulldown 24p videos just be multiplying the same frame 5 times thus conserving theatres 24fps.
And it's great that Hobbit will be shot in 48 frames. At last!
