At my church Jesus taps a vein for the Sunday 10am mass.

I'm going to hell for that joke. :(

Nothing to do with gaming but the last few days the conditions have been good for ham radio contacts. With my relatively low power (70 watt) tube type transceiver from the 60's and small antenna I have been making contacts all over central and south america. Between 3,000 and 6,000 miles. I'm way up in Wisconsin USA. I'm thrilled to get that distance with my small station.

Apparently you need a FCC license for this? Yes, asking.

Yes. I tested and received my license about 30 years ago.

I finished up with a new personal record of about 8,200 miles with 2 contacts in New Zealand. Also snagged Hawaii and then Cape Verde off the west coast of Africa. About 60 contacts total in 15 countries IIRC in one weekend. Ham radio guys have been waiting years for this new 11 year solar cycle to begin. We are part way on the upswing leg of this one.

Feel free to bow to me if you wish. :P

I moved out of my parents place, free from someone who was emotionally abusive, narcissistic, and reliant on the fact I had nowhere else to go (as I can't be alone, and I rarely trust people) so they could loaf off of my money.

Sad that I had to distance myself from my medically crazy father, causing him to not care for himself, and be in a pure manic phase these past few months, but he chose to stay with my mom, and I wasn't the right person to care for him anyways. Hopefully can get him to a better place in time.

Have a stable relationship with my partner and their mom who I'm also living with. Have put actual care into getting mental health appointments. Have started volunteer work by delivering food to seniors.

Have finally scheduled that scary MRI appointment to check on my brain tumors. Fingers crossed.

Life is going well rn.
Unlike the slough that was the past 2-3 years or so.
I am still a jackass.

And Jeff,
Happy af you got a new cat.
I know losing mine would hurt so much.
Good you got something to fill that void.

Been a lot of barcades (bar + retro arcade) popping up where I live, much to my pleasure. Great selection of vintage machines and beer, what's not to love for Gen X nerd like myself? Just got done clearing Sunset Riders and Turtles in Time on their original hardware with a friend. Good times. Only thing that sucks is that many of those ancient machines are a bit busted up, so usually there are a least a few machines with completely broken controls. Donkey Kong isn't very fun when the up direction doesn't work. And the vintage fighting games are almost always too broken to play VS mode.

Using gmail in the first place should be a much larger concern than the UI.

I've been switching to Proton but sadly I still have about 17 years' worth of accounts & data via gmail so I can't get rid of it altogether (well, I could, but atm I don't think it's worth the effort)

If you still need to read emails from 17 years ago for some reason, the new protonmail has a built in import feature that I believe even the free teir can use now. If not, just pay for a single month, use the tool and then when it`s finished ask for a refund for the remainder of time left.

There`s literally no reason in 2022 to continue clinging to google products with all the free alternative services available for everything they provide.

Hey guys, do any of you like these women as much as I do? If you like at least one of them, give this post a positive point (If you don't like any of them, feel free to give it a -. :D

(or a short verbal response, my intention is definitely not to score points in such a cheap way)

Weirdest russian spam i've seen in awhile.
I don't get how my facebook or email is supposed to get hacked by this, or who I'm supposed to vote for in 2024

Oh really? How do you recognize spam in a discussion in which there is an absence of any specific topic?

Not sure, but they look sort of fragile. But I do love women. I prefer mine free and wild … so ... here is one from Siberia.

She (if I'm permitted to assume the gender) looks great alright, but did the blonde woman really need to be in the shot?

The blonde one was only put there as an attempt to get a cheap upvote from Bill Cosby.
