Hey, Kathy....I'm sorry but you're asking the wrong person for "the talk".

In other news: my chair keeps sliding back down to its base level. I finally have a desk high enough for me to elevate the seat and the chair doesn't want to cooperate.

Technology will find a way to overcome this flaw, it's only a matter of time and effort.

In other news, I am learning how to mod Keen 4, currently making my own tilesets for it, though they are mostly minor edits for now.

That would never really work, for several reasons.
1. You are talking about scanning, not printing. The main difference is that money is always the same, so it's possible for a software to tell whenever you are scanning it, but it will fail to recognize a model created in a 3D sofware. It would be possible to recognize a high-definition accurate model of an existing gun — but that's the problem, any change and the software won't distinguish it from a tea pot, for example.
2. The scanner do that by using image recognition (similar to Google image search) or reading special marks on the paper. In both cases you can bypass it by covering part of the note. Here is a video that shows how you can scan money.
3. While manufacturers softwares prevents you from scanning money bills, if you use a third-party softwares such locks doesn't exist. And the 3D printing technology is open to anyone, it's not hard for someone qualified to find out how to build one and download a free software.

That one? It was far too ambitious, there was a lack of resources to use and my coding skills weren't very good back then.
Keen mod is going quick thouh;

My tileset, still just miragia though, haven't done anything with layout besides testing the editor.
Also, whilst I'm at it, if anyone is bothered, here are a couple of IMF's I composed for this thing, unfortunately I don't have the same style as Bobby Prince. One has a lot of arpegios and I'm not sure how that's going to turn out in-game yet, I also have a habbit of making the drumkit kill everything - not just with the AdLib but with any synthesizer.

I never said they'd implement the exact same technology, but a similar system would probably stop a large number of people. Unfortunately, yes, people will find ways around things but that's the way it always is, just like copy protection and such.

anti-piracy while promoting piracy, then when hypocrisy is pointed out they turn on you like rabid dogs and claim you support the "other side"
idiocy at its finest

Dalibor Spidla = Lance
Beer Baron Simpson = Cyco
I've known these guys for far too long. They bring shame to online Duke. They will lie about others and complain about how unfair it is to impose bans, but if you say anything against their Duke Matcher client then they will ban you from their servers no questions asked.
And I know for a fact their original intent was to support piracy. A few years back that link on their site to google search duke3d.grp said "DUKE3D.GRP (first link)", which was a link to download it from MediaFire.
It's very simple how they work. They are control freaks. They will attack anything that has the potential of stealing popularity from their client. They will even lie if it gets the job done.
