Nah it's alright I was just exaggerating a bit - you've put a lot of work into the mapping side of the TC and I don't want people to neuter their comments or feedback, it's just I was getting tired of arguing about long-standing mechanics in the mod that have been there for many years More will be unveiled when we get beta testers though, I'm interested in hearing from more hardcore players on how they feel about things.

Changing jobs won't fix your anxiety problems.
Besides, most jobs that have you working under a logo or firm name have the use and toss mentality.
Large populations all clusterfucked into a centralized location create a disposable work force.

You want to get away from the rat-race? move out to the country and get a job milking cows. You'll be too tired at the end of the day to have anxieties, and you'll probably sleep through your vacations.

I wish England was large enough to do that. The temptation to up sticks and try it in America is there, but I'm sure something will fuck up and I'll end up homeless. I'm well accustomed to the 'use em up and chuck em' aspect but to be honest pretty much everybody on the bottom rung is like that. I worked for a pub for a few months and it was even worse because the boss could just fire me if he didn't like me. At least with corporations they have to go through the system unless they can find a reason to nail you for gross misconduct.

As long as I had net access though I would love a simple job where I go in, do my hours without having to worry whether I'm meeting productivity quotas (I take my job seriously and work as hard as I can, but it's a crap-shoot depending on external factors whether I met the targets or not) and not have to talk to another person there. I don't expect/plan to settle down or have a family so I wouldn't even need to work a lot or do tons of hours, just enough to pay my bills and taxes and put a little bit by for retirement.

I'm not exactly sure how that is my problem, most gifs I post are probably ancient and are low file size anyway. I could have easily put them under a spoiler button or something if you messaged me like my post said. Does stuff like YouTube crash your browser too?

And I'll say it again, I am not "crying" about anything. When someone upvotes a post it generally means they like it (agree with it etc.) and life goes on. When someone downvotes a post of mine then I guess it means they disagree or dislike it. I was merely pointing out the fact that I had no idea why High Treason kept downvoting my posts when other people like Fox would upvote them.

Haha that's true he could be a Jewish gorilla, but the series spends a lot of time breaking down religious myths so I wouldn't imagine him belonging to any (religious) sect at all.

But yes, I feel like the 3 books are important reads for everyone in terms of being awake to the world around you and aware of a lot of the nonsense. Everyone I've loaned them to comes away with that bleary-eyed "just woken up from a long sleep" look.
