Let me now if there is a way to extract those soundfiles. I downloaded it to Itunes but can't open it because I don't have a slavepad or slavephone. :)

If its an .ipa file then all you do is rename it to .zip.

AdamF, community manager of Gearbox forum said it's free software, so can somebody share that soundboard here? Unless sharing that piece of free software it's still considered piracy or ilegal because of some license technicality.

wasn't all that simple. gone old-skoool and recorded the whole thing from my crappad (hence the shitty quality)

sorry for not labeling all the different parts, but was enough work to record everything, cut out the noise where i could and slice it up :)

Thanks :D

Seems like most of the one-liners are taken from DN3D Reloaded - DNF multiplayer.

I knew a few of those already. But why do they refer to everything as "were" "was", etc. Are they talking about cut content?

Yeah, they totally are. Why would they spoil stuff in such a manner if it wasn't cut?

Not sure but it might be a tv spot judging by the video quality and by the fact that I can't find it on any of the official sites.
I would have said it's a fake but it does seem to have a few scenes that I haven't seen combined with lots of rehashed scenes from the first trailer.

Apparently it's an advertisement that runs on Gametrailers. Someone in the UK saw an actual TV commercial that had different footage.

That's my queue! Haha. I saw a different version of that TV spot during a sponsor ad for Sky Movies, DNF is the latest official sponsor for Sky Movies and was advertised just before they showed 'Terminator 2'. Looked really nice on my 42" TV.

you can see general graves even in a trailer somewhere

General Graves kicks ass ever since 2001  I would love to hear some of his lines int he new game that we could hear in the 2001 trailer.
But I am not holding my breath for that since as we all know, DNF's story has been rebooted quite a few times until now.

We have one line so far from the General, "We need you Duke, now more than ever". We could well see a return of the original line. After all, there's a president in DNF who's making dodgy deals with the aliens and kidnapping him wouldn't go amiss. We have the "What are you gonna do? Save the world all by yourself?" line from the EDF trooper, so fingers crossed for more gems.

Spoiler

so i guess they will play homage to some of the lines of the 2001 trailer .. question is if it is embedded in the story of more in form of a homage to the epic trailer

Maybe some conspiracy theory stuff?
You know how there's a crazy conspiracy theory about the twin towers getting put down by aliens with George W Bush's knowledge?
Maybe the dnf dev team decided to borrow from that and bring it into the game with a twisted Duke Nukem humor to it all.
I don't know where I've read about this on this forum, but I remember somebody saying that in DNF there were supposed to be or still are some George W Bush jokes that were most likely meant to be new and funny back when they thought that DNF will get released before he will leave his presidential office.
The problem is that when you make political jokes in a game that's been in development for almost 15 years, those jokes have to change all the time, in order to have people caring about them.

You can definitely tell that the same guys that made the first game were also behind DNF since in Duke 3D there were also Bill Clinton jokes.
So they obviously carried those types of jokes over into DNF.

Finally saw a proper UK TV spot on Dave! Had some old footage with two very short new clips, a narrator doing the usual doom and gloom and saying only one man can save us, a different rap song, and, the best part of all, Duke closes the deal by saying "Buy my game if you know what's good for ya!". If I find a link I will share it, Duke's line actually sounded very convincing for a marketing ploy.

Sorry it's low quality, it's the best I can do currently.

This is a completely obvious repost. I just wanted to remind everyone of this genius. The trailer that killed a company.
