Can't save game after deleting a game folder "Starts in build 20100703-1665"

-Create a custom game folder
-Launch EDuke32 and set "Custom game content directory" to this custom folder - run the game
-Immediately exit the game
-Delete the custom game folder and launch Eduke32 again ("Custom game content directory" is set to "none" at this point) - run the game

At this point, the game wont create any more save files in the base directory. They'll appear in-game (until you quit), but you wont be able to load them. Any saves that existed previously in the base directory will still load, but you can't save over those either. The problem goes away as soon as you change "Custom game content directory" to something else.

This bug first appears in build 20100703-1665 and is still present in the newest one. The last build without the bug is 20100701-1664 (20100617 in the log).

I've attached log files for each build.
