Duke Nukem 3D: Legacy Edition MOD [Annoucement]  "Return to the legacy on October 20th"

Hello guys, I hope everyone is great!!
This is my new Mod which aims to not only rebalnce the game but to make "the old and the new become one" (it's not a BETA/ALPHA recreation).
Mixing elements of Alpha and Beta versions of the game with new features and elements without messing too much with the core game design, this mod will bring you a fun way to play the game!

This mod brings new variants to some enemies and, not only new weapons, but altenate fire modes as well, for some of them!
It features a score system and new skill levels, one of them being the "Get Medieval", that makes you play the game without mouse aim, keyboard only, like the old days (I know it was meant to be played with mouse, but I've always found the game difficult to be calibrated for keyboard only).

The project is in the final stage of development, I waited until I had finished 95% of it to announce.
This will be my first mod ever released, I'm so glad that I could make it... It has been the way I found to deal with my depression, by accomplishing something that I always wanted, but never could!

Looks neat, and good job at getting a lot of the visuals to look faithful to the betas, like the rotation on the weapon bob. Looking forward to it.

Also man, I can relate to you when it comes to depression. It makes it hard to get things done, but good to see you pushing through it. It's such a nice feeling once you accomplish something, it's a big reason why I work on mods to begin with.

This looks like a lot of hard work has been put into making this feel authentic to the source material. I'm looking forward to seeing this released!

Maybe you could even recreate the Enforcers on Patrol Vehicles with that.

It's a shame there's not, relatively, enough material to recreate the "skinny" Alpha pigcop.

Sorry for the silence guys, I thought I could handle the tons of bug fixing and balancing issues, but apparently not!!

So, after 14 days, IT'S DONE!!

Chances of the very-very last minute to add the Scorpion Tank? Maybe is already in it, but I didn't see it in the awesome trailer. However, even the wiki does not say which attack should launch the "tail".

Ahhh, i'm planning on adding the Scorpion tank in the next episode!

I was thinking of maybe a plasma attack?

Today, I'm releasing the 1.2 version of the mod.

I've added new features and fixed several bugs in regards to maps and gameplay.

NEW FEATURES:
- You can now disable the screen bump when using the Mighty Foot;
- You can now enable the Pistol to be automatic;
- Redesigned the Elite Pig Cop and made him more dangerous;
- Weapon Wheel now shows the amount of ammo you have;
- Added Episode Level sub-menu;
- Balanced game in lower skill levels;
- Added widescreen texture to title cards AND bonus screen;
- Linux version;
- Added destroyed body counter
- Changed Game Intro (CHECK IT OUT);
- Destructable wall texture now give points to the player when shot;
- Killing a Boss gives points to the player;
- Finishing a level gives points to the player;


BUG FIXES:
- Increased Pipebombs in the box to 5;
- Fixed Ultra RPG inaccuracy;
- Added Snakehead explosion when it bulls towards the player;
- Fixed Overlord mini-boss being too easy;
- Snakedrone and Drone explosions now deal less damage;
- Fixed Overlord RPG without fire smoke and dealing too much damage;
- Increased Battlelord walk and run velocities;
- Fixed Space Suit Jetpack bug;
- Increased Jetpack duration by 10 seconds;
- Fixed score system calculation;
- Fixed score system not calculating Green Slime death in the body counter;
- Fixed destroyed body counter not countingAdded body counter to level stats;

Damn, i've never seen the Commander crawling sprites before. But, I don't know, I don't see much use for it.
I'm planning on using the Laser Chainsaw on the next episode as the new weapon, As for the Sonic Resonator, since it was completelly scrapped and there no traces whatsoever of its existence in any prototypes, I'm not gonna use it.


I'm using the Scorpion Tank as well in the next release and the Blue Protector Drone. But, for know, it will be only that.

Good to see more material, I completelly forgot to check the forums when searching for material.
