The people left over didn't know what to do, and so they leaned into the wrong things trying to recapture what was gone. This started with the Atomic Edition and got worse during all the years of DNF's development.

To be clear here, I'm not saying this in an accusatory or condemning way to anyone or a particular group. To be honest I'm not even sure why it's felt this way; just something I've noticed.

And yes, I say this in full light of my own explosion at I-am-having-a-brain-fart-and-literally-can't-actually-remember-his-username not too long ago. So I'm not exactly "above" it, myself.

What's funny is that the peanut gallery is accused of being a "right wing group think" when the truth is that most of us don't even agree with each other on anything except disliking the Left as a political entity. I'm pretty sure somebody has argued in favor of monarchy, and I know there are some strong government law and order guys, and speaking for myself I don't even think the government should exist (horseshoe theory I'm either extremely far left or far right depending on who you ask.) I come from the Left, abandoning the group when I realized they are letting insane people run the show. I only supported Trump because he's bad for the establishment.

No, what's funny is that you are so politically uneducated that you don't understand how every position you just listed are all variations of conservative thought or governance. But you're right about one thing, the main thing they have in common is "anti-left".

the right and left both have the same overall goal though which is to silence their opposition and distort the constitution to how they see it in their warped one sided political brain. It’s the same on both sides of the aisle. There’s no “common ground” to be reached when both sides view each other as an enemy and not fellow citizens, and this is what both sides want because fear brings in votes.

It's always been very weird to me that virtually everyone who argues some version of "both sides are the same", follows it up with an implicit "so we should just vote Republican anyway". Not everyone, but most of them.
