Like big, simultaneous explosions or hit/pain/kill sounds. Extremely loud especially in Blood and Shadow Warrior with cluster explosions or automatic weapon kills.

Please DON'T fix it unless that fix is accompanied by an overhaul of the sound system with real volume control and other features. In EDuke32, there is no way to set the volume of a sound (only distance offset), so playing multiple instances of a sound is the only way to make it louder, which sometimes is very necessary (e.g. if you want NPC dialog to be heard over music and other sounds).

Or apply the reverb effect, without anticipating the port devs are going to change the way this effect works the very week the project with your level in it releases, forever making people think you were trying to deafen them on purpose.

Bummer. Sometimes it's kinda cool when implemented properly, but sometimes it's just forcing me to use volume compensation or whatever it called, which is cool, but ruins the overall volume balance and mixing, muffling bass etc.
